Questions & Answers
My monitor is 10" off the desk at its highest setting, but this will vary depending on the size of your monitor. Mine are 27" in length. Yes, vertical monitor positioning is possible.
It measures 2 inches on the bottom and 3 1/2 inches on the top.
Is it necessary for the desk to have a deep lip? I'm using an Arozzi gaming desk that's just over a foot long. The clamp is in the shape of a U, and the tightening bolt is about 3" long. On a desk as thin as 1/4", it can be tightened.
With these arms, you won't be able to stack monitors as high as that. It would be necessary to mount one arm higher than the other.

I had high hopes for this mount. It appeared to me to have a higher-end appearance, which is clearly desirable. The clamp part of the mount worked well and felt tight and secure, but the rest of the mount did not. Most of the time, I had the impression that the arm was barely attached. It was a complete nightmare to adjust this thing for height. It's difficult to get the tension settings just right, and even when you think you've got it, the next day it starts sagging. It's a real pain. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: br>I'd like to express my gratitude for the company's proactive approach to my review. They offered me a free mount and a $40 Amazon gift card, which is the first time I've ever received such an offer from a company. Obviously, I accepted the offer, but it has no bearing on my overall rating of the product; if the free unit they send me performs better than the one I returned, I will update my review to reflect this at that time. br>br>Service, response, and remediation for customers: 5 starsbr>Product: 2 starsbr>br>br>br>Update 6/18/2020: br>The replacement unit was more effective. Although not perfect, it is a step in the right direction. It was a lot more tolerant of the monitor's weight. The rating has been raised to four stars.
However, this is not the case. The good:
- It's a breeze to assemble. I'd say it took about 30 minutes from start to finish.
- It looks fantastic. The stand appears to be well-made and does not appear to be overly inexpensive. (For more information on this point, continue reading. )br>br>The bad:
- Because the arms are made up of two pieces, all of the joints have noticeable play. The bottom supports for each arm, in particular, are a source of concern. I don't have an exact measurement, but it looks like there's about 3/4 inch of lateral movement. I expect things to deteriorate over time.
- Out of the box, there are different spring strengths. One of the arms, or the upper part of the arm that houses the springs, appears to be set differently out of the box. My monitors are different weights. One is heavier than the other. The lighter monitor's arm droops vertically, while the heavier monitor's pitch droops. I tried to fix the vertical issue by adjusting the spring, but it didn't work. br>The unattractive:
- The spring arm adjustment instructions belong to a different model. The pitch tension adjustment, for example, is on the side, but the instructions state that it should be on the topbr>- Control of the quality. Last but not least, the package includes set screws to lock the rotation of each joint in each arm, which is the product's single most unacceptable flaw. The set screws are to be installed with the Allen wrench that comes with the kit, according to the instructions. There was one minor snag: the set screws provided had a FLAT HEAD! I do have a few flat head screwdrivers, but a glaring error like that in the quality control process is ridiculous. br>br>Finishing Thoughts:
- If the machining was done with less tolerance so that the arms had less play, the springs would be set similarly right out of the box, and the instructions and tools included in the box would be completely relevant; This would receive a four-star rating. I give it five stars.
This product is very impressive, and there are many dual monitor desk arms available on Amazon. One that wasn't a gas spring was what I wanted. This one appears to be spring-loaded and functions flawlessly. It has a lot of options for customization. A dual monitor setup was absolutely necessary for me. I have two 27" monitors, one horizontal and the other vertical, and I wanted the horizontal one (the primary monitor) to be centered on my desk and the vertical one to the side, but I was unsure if this arm would be strong enough to hold both (they both weigh around 17 pounds). I was also unsure if I would be able to place the monitors exactly where I wanted them. My desk is about 1" higher than the back wall, so that was an issue as well. But, after putting everything together and adjusting it for a while, I've got everything exactly where I want it, and it's great. Removing the monitor stands from my desk creates a lot more space and provides a nice de-cluttering effect. To my desk, it has a cluttered appearance. br>Assembly was simple; the instructions are basic, but it's easy to figure out how to put everything together. The desk's base is very sturdy and clamps down tightly (my desk is about. 8" in thickness). It's a breeze to put the two arms together, and one thing I liked about it was that you attach the Vesa mount plates to the backs of the monitors separately from the arms, then slide and lock them into the arms' ends. There is some wiggle between the end of the arm and the base plate attachment, but this isn't a problem once the monitors are in place. br>The tension in the arms can be adjusted easily with the included wrench. I simply relaxed some of the tension in both arms, positioned the monitors exactly where I wanted them, then tightened the tension, and they now stay in place with no sag. I was able to position the monitors exactly where I needed them thanks to the excellent range of motion. br>Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and am glad I went with this product.
This is a sturdy, high-quality mount, and I would give it five stars if it weren't for the instructions, which irritated me greatly. They're overly simplistic, and they leave out some crucial steps. A lot of things are left up to you to figure out. The instructions give you a website link for a video tutorial, but when I go there, I'm forced to connect with EVEO on Facebook Messenger (which I despise), and when I do that and tap "Need help How to Use," I'm given the option of choosing between radios, tire gauges, or kitchen appliances. So there's no point in that. Then I tried going to the EVEO website, but there was no help there either. Go to the website for yourself and take a look around. Maybe by the time you read this, they'll have added the installation video that the instructions promise. I eventually figured out how to install it myself, thanks to EVEO's help. It was a pain to figure out how to remove the cable management covers (answer: They slide upwards, but there's nothing to indicate that, so I almost broke one by prying it off with a screwdriver). br>br>Nice mount, but a pain to set up and deal with customer service.
