Questions & Answers

How large is the attachment for the thread ?

Yes, that is true.

Has this product been labeled with the Prop 65 logo? In california? Can you refer me to the document that says the materials have been known to cause cancer?

According to what I have seen so far, the Samson MD5 desktop microphone stand does not pose a danger of cancer to residents I presume that this is a serious concern and your question is not meant as a prank. A Prop 65 label is not attached to either the stand itself or the box that it came It's my pleasure to help!

Is the base a diameter of some sort?

A little over six. It is 5 inches long. The base is very solid and stable and holds any microphone very well.

Would this weight be able to hold an acoustic guitar? Where's the shield? Could you please tell me about Amazon item B006YTZOOS?

While I am unsure, I will tell you this I have the blue microphone and the pop screen attached to it, plus a "heavy" shock mount, and it is holding I'd say that it's probably got a total of five zeros I put 7 lbs on it without any problems

Yeti Blue and Radius II from Solid Base
5/5

A desktop stand, or a stand of any sort, for the Blue Yeti, or the Blue designed Radius II, is extremely difficult to find. I assumed the base of this stand would be stable enough so that I would have no significant problems. At 6, you should feel more relaxed. A size of 25 inches Item 15. It has a diameter of 9. 9 cm and a height of 2. 25 meters. The weight is 7 lbs. (*1). Even though the mic is quite heavy (23kg), the base is indeed strong enough to hold it. Possibly the bases can be made a bit heavier since there is extra space underneath, but once it reaches a certain weight it would be absurd. In order to prevent scratching, the entire perimeter of the base is coated in a generous layer of dense foam. I like how thick it is and how smoothly it slides Despite the lack of threading on the stem, the base and shock mount connect easily to it. *br*
Both ends of the stem have good machining on the threads. As far as I understand, the only complaint is that there are no height adjustments, but I figured that was the main reason this wouldn't tip over. My setup happens to allow me to work with the final stack height. If you're willing to give up flexibility, this will definitely work as a great microphone stand at an affordable.

Ideal for the desk, starting with this one would have been wise
5/5

There is a Samson S01U Pro USB microphone that I have with a It is thanks to this combination that the mounting is exceptional The process is complex and heavy. I have finally found the right solution for having it on my desk after many other trials. As a result, it sits at the appropriate height in my desk and fits perfectly on the shock mount. It is a great product. Here's what I have tried on my other tests in order to get my setup to work Previously, I tried using a deskmounted arm, but I found that it couldn't be used with my desk (that doesn't have any space between the desk and the wall and cannot move). A shock mount on the arm also caused the arm to have problems handling the microphone's weight. After my initial failed attempts with a tripod, I tried installing it on a rack, but the weight put on by the shock kept it from working Despite the mounts, the microphones ended up being too far off-centered The tip always happens to be in the center.

This mic stand is great for desk use
5/5

This is what I'm currently using A cheap boom arm was previously attached to my desk, but after a realignment of my setup, the boom arm was no longer long enough to reach where I needed it. Having heard that lighter stands are prone to tipping over, I found it important to get a heavy stand for the microphone. As far as I am concerned, I don't have any complaints. The footprint of this product is small, but it is The price is great for the quality.

The build quality is excellent and the base is heavy
5/5

Using this desk stand is what you need if you need a conventional desk stand. I am extremely pleased with the build quality! It is also very pleasing to the eye. With or without hardware such as a pop screen and/or shock mount, the base is heavy enough for almost any mic. If your microphone were to tip over, it would be almost impossible. is very smooth and has pads on the underside so it can be easily slid around your desk without damaging it. In the event you need a taller stand, I believe the Shure A26X black extension tube would suit your needs. As a result, the height would increase by about 3", making it about 6".

It's that easy
5/5

A sturdy product. The Samson legend. For those of you who need a mic stand for your desktop, you don't have to spend a lot of money on something. It comes Screwed into the round base is a rod. A lot of weight is in the base of the microphone to prevent it from toppling over. In the picture you can see my Mackie EM-201 microphone I don't think it's possible to knock over this setup except if you pick it up and lay it on it sideways.

The desktop stand works great! We bought some mics once for webcasting which came with a small tripod, but they turned out to be quite It wasn't worth taking the chance of knocking them over, so I bought this weighted stand
5/5

Super happy with the purchase. The system is very Although they are heavy, you would have to fight hard to knock them over, even if the shock mount and heavy microphone were pulling them toward one side. The weight of the microphone is more than compensated for by the shock mount. These stands are never going to let you down.

I really like the desk stand
5/5

The table has moved across the house and for the time being I am using a different one. The boom arm stand I had previously attached to my table was incompatible with this one. In my search for desk/table top mic stands, I came across this product on Amazon. Of all the ones I looked at, this seemed to be the best. With the Samson name brand and the best quality, I thought this was a great This one turned out to be a good choice. Exactly what I was looking for. My guess is that it will be heavier than I thought, which is a good thing. I like the build quality of the building. This is my Lewitt LCT The shock mount that came with the microphone fits perfectly, and it looks great as well. This is exactly what I was looking for. Exactly what I wanted. It is recommended.

I think this one works well with the heavy Blue Radius & Blue Yeti combination
4/5

It's one of the few stands that is compatible with both the Blue Radius and the Frame Given the weight of the latter, Blue Yeti stands out above all. Although it was more stable than I had expected, I still found it not sturdy enough if it was bumped, so I added three pound The rock solid foundation is now in place! There was a chance I should have done that with the other stands I tried before I got the Samson stand. For that reason, I am giving this desk stand a nod as it is the only one I have found that doesn't immediately topple over when I combine the Blue and Black colors.
