There are a lot of out ports on this thing, and the voltage can be adjusted. Because this unit is center positive, I use a couple of polarity inverters to match the polarity of what I'm powering, as well as some other USB to DC adapter cables to boost the voltage to 9V or 12V if I need more than the one included on the unit. br>br>TC Helicon Perform VEbr>Boss RC202 looperbr>Boss RC202 looperbr>Boss RC202 looperbr>Boss RC202 looperbr>Boss RC202 looperbr>Boss RC202 looperbr>Boss RC202 looperbr>Could use it to power my Novation Circuit, Zoom br>br>Excellent unit with a lot of features. br>br>An indicator for the 9V/12V switch is also included. The writing is on the gleaming top side of the switch, very faint against the gleaming surface if you look closely.
It worked well and gave me about a 5-star rating. 6 hours of continuous 12v runtime is excellent for a 7" display with all of the associated sonar and computing. I used it about 6 times before deciding to order another to double my run time; however, the first failed completely the day after I ordered the second, refusing to power on for more than 5 seconds regardless of whether there was a current draw on the battery or not. br>br>Because I was past the return window and was waiting for the replacement battery, I started an email exchange with the company, and they had me try to recharge, etc. with no luck. They offered to replace the battery with an XT2000, which is the next step up in their product line. They also recommended that I return the extra battery I ordered for a full refund. They said they'd send out a replacement as soon as they received my return. br>br> The return arrived on Tuesday, and I received a new battery on Thursday of the same week. br>br>It's wonderful to see a company stand behind their products like this. I honestly believe I was given a defective battery and do not anticipate any further issues. I'm excited to try out the new battery, and I'll continue to support companies that stand behind their products and offer this level of customer service.
It's in a Milwaukee M12 heated jacket that I'm wearing. Everything was fine the first time I used it because it powered the jacket. for approximately 15 minutes The battery (and, by extension, the jacket) then turned off at random. I switched it back on after removing the battery. This time everything worked fine for about 2 hours before shutting down on its own. Because I only wear this jacket to work, this is a hassle. Who has time to constantly turn the battery on and off? I'm a little disappointed considering I paid $70 for it. I'm going to try returning it to see if it's just a bad battery. That's the hope I have for the future.
While lithium power supplies are twice as expensive as SLA batteries, they are much lighter and can be completely depleted without harm. This unit came highly recommended, and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. When I opened it, however, I noticed something wasn't quite right. On the protective plastic cover, there were numerous scuff marks. This is definitely a red flag. I turned it on because it was partially charged. When set to 12 volts, it powered up and produced 15 volts. Then it went to 0 for about 30 seconds. I re-charged the device and received the same result. I started a return and placed an SLA order. This was the second item from Amazon to arrive used and defective in the last month. Quality control needs to be tightened.
The battery's size and capacity were ideal for the project, and it fit snugly into the rover. Initially, I was looking at different power supplies for the Raspberry Pi and Arduino, which are used to power the rover. This, on the other hand, had it all. br>br>A quick wall charger was also included with the battery pack. It takes three hours to charge the battery. To useable levels, it takes 4 hours. I also appreciate how many connectors were included in the kit. With the cables and connectors provided in the kit, I was able to completely rig up the rover (1 usb cable to raspberry pi, 1 9v outlet to arduino, 1 5v supply from usb via a 2. Servos (5mm ID male connector) - It's exactly what I'm looking for.
So far, I've had it for a week. It was purchased to use with my breast pump so that I could use it without having to plug it in. I can use it for 12 pump sessions, each lasting 30 minutes, and the battery is still half-charged. I like that it can switch between 12v and 9v, so I can use it for either of my pumps while also charging my phone via the USB port; however, be sure to check the volts before plugging anything in. If the settings are incorrect, the battery will be destroyed. I had to learn the hard way that I needed to pay more attention and not assume everything was correct.
I purchased this to power my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, which requires 12 volts from an external source. br>br>The Nikon compatible batteries last about 45 minutes on average. This batter had been cooking for nearly four hours and still had plenty of juice left. I don't know how long it will last, but it's small enough to fit in a shirt pocket while still allowing for handheld camera movement. I wanted something that could fit in my pocket, so not only the power, but also the size played a role in my decision. There are certainly other external batteries that can power the BMPCC, but they tend to be bigger, more expensive, and much less convenient to use.
