Questions & Answers

Is it necessary to hold on to a camera, such as the m50, in order to tilt it down, or does it hold itself?

This part of the tripod I bought is complete garbage in my opinion. There is no support at all, and it falls all the way forward or all the way back when I mount my camera. If I can't fix this, I'll have no choice but to return to Endurax products and never look back.

Is there only one quick release mount included with the Endurax 66" video camera tripod?

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment,br>I appreciate it. The endurax 66" video camera tripod comes with one quick release plate that works with Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras, as well as other brands. Smooth 3- a two-way pan head that rotates and tilts 360 degrees The ability to adjust the vertical angle of the camera came in handy when it came to achieving the ideal shooting angle. It is extremely useful for photographers. br>EnduraxPhoto Customer Support Teambr>Celestinebr>Celestinebr>Celestinebr>Celestinebr>Celestineb

Is it possible to convert this to a headball plate?

Hello there, and thank you for taking the time to leave a message. We'd like to point out that the head on the Endurax 66" Video Camera Tripod cannot be removed. As a result, I'm afraid it won't be able to be converted into a head ball plate. br>I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the time you have taken to read this letter. br>EnduraxPhoto Customer Support Teambr>Celestinebr>Celestinebr>Celestinebr>Celestinebr>Celestineb

When tightening the pan head horizontally, how do you do it? It's loose, and the camera keeps moving from side to side, even though I'm trying to keep it upright. ?

I believe it has a nut that locks it in place. Alternatively, you could tighten the tripod's bottom nut to make it more rigid to turn. br>Best of luck to you.

Solidly constructed, but some features could be improved
5/5

Update: They improved the tripod bag so that it could hold the tripod without the swivel feet being removed! Now it fits perfectly, and I'm extremely pleased with the upgrade! br>br>This purchase has exceeded my expectations. The height of this one is 66 inches, compared to others that are shorter, and the pun was intended. It's well-made, with a strong frame and useful features. I like that it has four extensions instead of three because it gives me the extra height I need for my laser level. The removable plate's mounting screw had already begun to strip the plastic, and it was only tenuously held in place. It has no effect on the functionality, but it is worth noting. Another thing to keep in mind is that it won't fit inside the carry bag when fully assembled; you'll have to remove the swivel feet and rotating arm, which is inconvenient.

My $700 DSLR was literally on the verge of breaking
3/5

This does not inspire confidence in me. Let me just say that the legs have a solid feel to them. br>br>However, the top portion of it is NOT at all sturdy. I grabbed my Canon EOS 80D and headed out for a 10-minute photo shoot. Photo taken with a second timer. The camera begins to fall off after a few seconds. I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to see it. I would have lost $700 if it had fallen. The handle bar, which is supposed to be the mechanism for moving the camera around, is the second issue I have. I'm not sure if I got a bad one, but I can't even slightly screw it in when I insert the handle. It easily falls out when you move it around. Finally, the top half feels cheap (the legs, however, do not). br>br>This is not something I would recommend for a DSLR. If you want to use a phone with a thick case (in case it falls), that's fine; for example, I was using an 18-inch iPhone. A 135mm lens was used. If it's too heavy, it should have been stated in the product description. That type of lens is found on the majority of DSLRs. br>br>I wish there was a way for me to get a refund for this!.

Don't put your trust in a good "starter" for expensive or heavy equipment
3/5

4 lbs or less To begin with, there is no mechanical metal fastener that secures the pan head to the tripod itself (see image 1). It's made of pure friction and has a plastic clip that looks like a car panel fastener (see image 2). The pan and tilt head's base (picture 3) has a friction break (picture 4) that, when tightened, provides friction interference to the pan/tilt base (picture 3). With an 18 gauge brad nail (picture 5), the pan/till base is attached to the center riser post. Having said that, I will not be using this to support my actual DSLR and battery grip. In the head section, the components have a lot of play between them. The lockdown tab on the shoe is yanked. You'll have to compensate for plastic flex while shooting vertically; just keep your hands close to the camera in case she slips. Wear a sling over your shoulder and don't have any devices attached to your head. This is ideal for off-camera lights and flash heads at its best. Many people, I'm sure, won't have any issues. Just be aware of what you're about to receive. I'd like to come back. However, it is entirely my fault for not addressing it sooner.

The best tripod you can buy
5/5

I previously owned a Zomei 65-dollar tripod, which was nothing more than a collection of smooth metal poles that served no purpose. In comparison, the Enduraxx tripod is half the price and a DREAM. It's so nice to have a tripod that actually helps you take better photos. Since taking photographs is my job, I needed to invest in a high-quality tripod that would last. THIS TRIPLE TRIPLE TRIPLE TRIPLE TRIPLE TRIPLE TRIPLE T The phone holder screws on securely and easily, which is something I really like about this product. It is both stable and light. It's dependable when it comes to keeping the height adjusters in place. It's simple to adjust the angles to suit my preferences. Because I am tall, the legs also extend very far, which means I won't have to bend down or move it further away to get the shot. I'm very pleased with my purchase overall. The price, the quality, and the efficiency are all excellent. This tripod is an excellent investment.

Ideal for use with a spotting scope
5/5

There were no reviews of this tripod being used with a spotting scope that I could find. br>This is far more stable than the shaky tripod I had planned on using- I couldn't get the scope adjusted to my liking because it was shaking so much. br>For my intended purpose of spotting on a rifle range, this tripod is performing admirably. primarily for 100-person households a distance of 150 meters br>Tripod is light enough for my needs while remaining extremely stable- Most of the time, it will be used on a bench with the legs not fully extended. br>Because the center riser shaft has a lock, it's also simple to reinforce.

At This Price Point, This Is An Excellent Tripod
5/5

I use this tripod primarily for still photos and stationary camera videos, and it's a great value for the money. The swivel and pan appear to be smooth, but there is a lot of plastic in those joints and no bearings, so it isn't comparable to a high-end product. End-of-the-line professional tripod with mobility in mind. However, in my experience, most users with good to very-good credit can get a lot out of this. equipment of high quality I could see where larger rigs/high-capacity batteries would be useful. All aluminum legs, plastic locking tabs, all tightening knobs, and the quick release plate (except the 1/4" mounting screw) may cause problems with end gear. The plastic, on the other hand, appears to be of good quality and not cheap. I like that it comes with a phone mount. Other reviewers' concerns about bag size have been addressed, as mine fits in the bag with room to spare, even with the feet attached. If you're on the fence about buying it, go ahead and do it.

This is only my second 66" tripod, but compared to the first, this one is far more versatile
5/5

First and foremost, I decided to pick mine up through Amazon Warehouse, and aside from a slightly smooshed box, it was essentially brand new. The Warehouse is becoming increasingly appealing to me. br>br>It's the same weight as my previous tripod in terms of size. The feet, on the other hand, were a distinct difference. These had to be put in and made me feel a lot safer. The legs also extend in 1/4ths, which is a nice feature. If I'm in a space with limited ground space, I can deploy it with a smaller footprint and then use the telescoping function to achieve a similar height using the telescoping function. br>br>It's more than sturdy enough for me because I use it to carry around lightweight items like my phone, action camera, or flash memory HD camcorder. It's probably excessive, but I don't mind. br>br>When it comes to locking down what you want shot-wise, the fixtures and locks are nice and tight. I'm hoping that this will be the last big tripod I'll ever need.
