No, it's the L- The 308 is a highly accurate natural light and flash meter that is simple to operate once you grasp the basics. This is the primary meter provided by my college to our photography students. The bad news is that it isn't a tank designed by Abrams. Keep it out of the reach of children, pets, and in-home visitors. laws, and don't attach your Ford F-150's bumper to them. You're doing well with 150 points. Any meter can be damaged if it is used incorrectly; simply wear it around your neck and you will be fine.
It does not, in fact. I'm pretty sure the L- The numbers 358, 558, and 608 are all going to be used.
Temperatures range from 0°C to 40°C.
For cinematography, I believe the newer model has LCD backlighting and a higher ISO setting. If you don't require those features, see if an older model is available.

Yes, I expected this meter to be small and useful as a backup. I discovered the top slider was loose and flopping after using it for a week and getting all kinds of strange readings. Feelings It functions as if it were a $25 bill. meter.
"Easy to use" is also a plus! As a professional photographer, I am extremely picky about how things balance out. I've been a photographer for almost as long as I can remember, but I recently made the decision to purchase a "Simple and Accurate" light meter. It makes no difference what kind of subjects you want to photograph; this light meter is all you'll ever need! This meter can be programmed to do anything you want. I only use manual flash units because I want each light to stay in the exact position that I set it. Because light is cumulative, if you set up "EACH LIGHT" to do a specific thing and you're using multiple lights, you'll need to understand what each light adds to the scene, and then you'll need to understand what "ALL THE LIGHTS" are doing to finish the shot. This meter is not only simple to operate, but it is also extremely accurate, making the entire shoot "EXTREMELY FAST"! As I grow older, br>br> As time passes, I find that this wonderful little meter has become "THE TICKET" for me. I'll also mention that I got a red-colored grip, or cover, for mine that is soft to the touch. I believe the cover (or grip) is the most important aspect of the book. It (as Amazon refers to it) was overpriced, but I needed one, so what can I say? OH WELL! br>br>If you need to measure incident light, ambient light, or flash, this meter is for you. br>Trust me, (Mr. Picky), this is all the meter you'll "EVER NEED. " "IT DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE WHAT YOU SHOT"! br>br>I hope you find what I've said useful, as I wrote it "FOR YOU"! Thank you, Shooter Boone. br>br>.
So they've cornered the market, and I respect the fact that if they're selling units, the price is reasonable. However, the unit is extremely light in weight, and the case creaks slightly when you hold it. I'm not sure how long it will last. br>br>Given that they're probably making a killing on these, it'd be a nice gesture to throw in a battery and the Lumi-X. Some water resistance would have been nice at the price point, rather than offering it as a thirty dollar option. Unless there's a part of the device's complexity that I'm missing. It seems like it should be a quarter to half the price they are asking. br>br>If there isn't enough competition in the market, it appears to be doing its job.
While some have complained that the unit feels cheap, and I understand their point of view, it is extremely light. That is a benefit in my opinion, and it is very useful for the work I do. It's precise, simple to program, and easy to tweak as needed. The Lumidisc, however, is not included with the light meter and must be purchased separately for around $30.
The L-Sekonic is a new product from Sekonic. 308X- The U Flashmate Light Meter did exactly what it said it would do. It's simple to take readings, and the exposures were spot on. I shot with a Mamiya RB67 camera that was completely manual, and I was able to achieve perfect exposures at a variety of shutter speeds and aperture readings. For photography that necessitates precise readings, I strongly recommend this meter.
the source of illumination I was initially concerned about the price, but after using this light meter for the first time, I felt a lot better. What I mean is that you won't have to take 5 or 6 shots to get the right exposure or go through photo editing to fix it. I can expose properly right away and reduce the amount of retouching I have to do. This is a great tool to have in your toolbox.
This is something I should have purchased years ago. I can now dial in my camera settings more quickly and avoid taking multiple shots in search of the perfect setting.
The meter is in general very nice. I haven't yet had the opportunity to test the ambient exposure. My flash exposures have been close but appear to be over by about 1/2 stop so far, despite being light and easy to use. This could simply be a case of me getting used to the meter and learning where to put it. br>br>This meter does everything you need it to do, but it lacks some of the bells and whistles found in meters that cost much more. For my old eyes, the display is fairly easy to read, and it is light enough to fit into my camera bag easily. br>br>If you're looking for a simple flash/ambient meter, this is the one to get.
