Questions & Answers

I have an iMac. Will these burn on an Apple Superdrive?

As far as I know, I just put them into my dvd player, and they said they had a recording error. The Apple Superdrive or I Mac is not something I am familiar with.

I was wondering if the DVD burner that came with my computer could be used for these. Roxio is the program I use to create DVDs. Would you be so kind as to thank me?

The ones I have on my computer work just fine. It has worked without any problems for me when I use Roxio Easy Media Creator 10. There is actually an image that I need to create on my computer, which I can burn It did not work well for me to copy one disc directly to another. I have found that by burning a copy to the computer and then setting the computer to blank, it works just fine. I hope

Are these good for backups if they are backed up What is the best method for backing up and restoring your computer files and images?

Neither the image nor the description are clear to me. In the meantime, they can be used as backups and restores for Most images these days are probably bigger than the media can display because the size of most images is larger than the size of the screen.

Is it possible to back up my computer using these?

There are no fill-ins on these eight. On 5 Gb DVDs, you must ensure (1) that the videos are in a format that can be viewed by your smart TV, and (2) you must have backup software installed on A blank DVD can be formatted as a video or as a file. You must have the software to transfer the media (this is true

I recommend it! One has to keep in mind that there is always going to be some sort of failure with writable media
5/5

This being said, I would certainly recommend this product for being at least as good (if not better) than other DL DVDs available today. Verbatim dual layer DVDs have now been purchased maybe 4 or 5 times by me. The type of things most people will never use, but when you do, they're invaluable. Backing up operating system discs to DL DVDs is something I do regularly Even though most of these disks sit in a spindle on a shelf once they are written to, there are times when they are needed and I am happy to report they perform admirably. I have already mentioned that some failures are to be expected, and out of 30 or so that I have used, two burned while being used. I cannot be sure if this is something to do with the Verbatim DLs, or if it is something to do with my DVD burner. 6 is still a solid score. It is not awful that these have a 6% failure rate, and most people will probably not encounter any problems since these are not an everyday item. Here are a few bullet points about general topics Please note Burners and readers for PC and Mac can be used with these. Please note The boot and install process works very well 8)* Brace yourself The only way they work is in Dual-CPU computers As a side note, if you plan on using these DVDs (or any for that matter) for critical operations (backing up files, operating systems, etc. ), I highly recommend buying the DVDs in A few articles were published (PC Mag, I believe) regarding the higher failure rate of DVDs stored in spinning disks as a result of the physics of this The link will be added to the comments after I look for it. As far as I am concerned, the only thing that would make this product even more appealing would be a lightscribe version The only DVDs that still require the old chicken scratch are the DL ones because I have a lightscribe labeling DVD drive that all but eliminates the need to sharpie. I would recommend this to others Sony or Memorex are much better options!.

The video quality is excellent
5/5

A few words about the quick summary During the second burn, the fire is completely destroyed. A Plextor 716A burner can be set at 4x or 4x It has been confirmed that Verbatim DVD+R DL data burned with the Plextor 716A is playable in EVERY DVD player I have tried (at least 20 to date)! I love it. The full article can be found here The Verbatim DVD+R DL media I recently used to back up a few of my most popular DVDs performed perfectly. In the original, there were eight words. It was about 1GB in size and contained about 50 On a single layer disc, I was unable to get it to fit. I'm saving the day! Let Verbatim DVD+R do the job! I am using my new Plextor PX-90 An excellent DVD burner (the 716A! It should be noted that the original DVD is not protected. I burned the DVD+R DL at approximately four times speed and authored it at 8x This video is 28 minutes long. In the process of burning). Within Plextor's software, it is possible to "overwrite" the type of the book so that it looks like a double-sided DVD plus -r disc A layer of DVD can be used in settop DVD players (so that older players will not be confused). To burn the DVD, I selected this setting (it is the default). There is no better way to test the compatibility and quality of a burned disc than to test its compatibility. You can do the test simply by putting the burned DVD into as many players as you can and seeing which ones can My testing of this DVD+R DL has so far taken place in over 20 DVD players, and all of them have played it without any compatibility issues. All these findings are equal to or better than all DVD-R and DVD-RW tests Whenever I have used R (single layer), it has taken me a very long time. As I read all the reviews on the net about how incompatible burned DVD+R DL discs are, I can honestly say that the Plextor 716A and Verbatim DVD+R DL combination is going to blow everything else out of the water. I'm not going to lie, the discs are quite expensive, but if you have valuable or irreplaceable DVDs you want to backup, they will work. You get what you pay for, as the old saying goes. I just wanted to clarify a couple of points This is *br1. All DVD-compatible players need to be compatible with one another If you have players, you ought to set your recording software to finalize all DVD+/- discs Disk R's with a DVD-R The type of book is a CD-Rom. You may run into trouble recognizing DVDs if older DVD players do not receive them. With Plextor drives, there is a setting (via Plextools) that forces the drives to always finalize with the DVD The book type is a CD-ROM! 2.

My experience with Verbatim DVD+R DL discs is that I have burned approximately 200 of them successfully and have never encountered any problems. I have never even tried another brand. I have only had two problems out of all of them. The first DVD I put an adhesive label on warped as soon as it was attached. Trying to flatten it caused the DVD to crack in the middle I had to toss it since it was too close to the edge. In the layer switch area of the second disc, there were a few read errors. As some of the dye was inconsistent near the center of that disc, it seemed that the bonding there was weak. The problem was at the outer edge of the DVD, which is strange since that is where the layer break is located.

You won't find a better product on the market
5/5

The DVD+R DL discs I used were very easy to use. When I used my Sony DVD player, they were perfectly burned at 6x speed Burning DVDs on a DRU820A RW After ripping a 7, I had torn a 6. It takes up 60 GB on my hdd to store a movie I own. After that, the was burned away. I could play ISO image files even on my Panasonic DVD player, which was supposed to be unable to read DVD+R media. Well, it certainly It went off without a hitch. In fact, they work so well that you can even make back-ups The data has been updated You may already have mp3 music on DVD. A dual layer dvd might be useful for you if you're thinking about it You can get a verbatim copy. My first experiences with the dual layer DVD+R DL format were with Verbatim, and I will continue to use.

I highly recommend these DVDs
4/5

It is misleading to name the DVD this way. It's the best DVD on the market and the quality is excellent! The phrase is misleading, as it implies that it is writeable. When I saw that icon, I attempted to erase a mistake that I made on one of them. Neither I purchased a new car nor did I shop for one I was tempted by the writable DVD but was put off by the label. However, when it comes to other factors, these are a great.

Listen to positive reviews instead of negative ones
5/5

I think this is an excellent platform. Except for one of these DVDs, all of the others I bought from Amazon have worked fine. Then I burned it 4 times. Unfortunately, my DVD player is an old one that doesn't accept DVDs that have been burned at a higher speed (so I'm at fault). If you burn your data at 2, you'll get the following results. You need to repeat this 4 times. The likelihood that it will work is almost 100 percent. As long as you have a good DVD writer. That might be the case for some. It's hard to believe 4x is so slow. My opinion is that it ensures two things. A)This gives you the best chance of playing your movie on almost every DVD player available in the market. It doesn't matter if they're 2 or less This is a 3 year old. A) Less data error or writing error (in general) will be present during the burning process. THIS MEDIA IS OF VERY HIGH QUALITY AND WOULD BE BEST USED FOR ARCHIVING YOUR PRICELESS DVD COLLECTION.
