Almost anything with yellow, red, or white cables can be plugged in and used to make it work on the television. This is what I bought for my PlayStation to work on my 4k hd tv, and it works great, so I'm guessing it will work for older gaming systems as well.

This was purchased to connect my Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). I quickly connected it and was playing classic Tetris in less than two minutes. This is an excellent product for bringing old games to life on your new Smart TV. The graphics on my 65" TV fit the screen perfectly, which was a pleasant surprise. They hadn't been squished into a tiny window. For some nostalgic gaming, this game is highly recommended.

We recently purchased a new LG OLED 55" Smart TV and discovered that it lacked input connectors for our older VCR player, which only had RCA connectors. I discovered the converter needed to connect our VCR's RCA cables to our TV's HDMI input. It functions flawlessly, and the image and sound quality are excellent. This converter requires power, which can be obtained from a USB port or by using the supplied adapter to connect it to an AC outlet. I recently purchased a new Sony X800H television and was unable to get my Dish satellite to work through the video input. Granted, my Dish DVR is quite old and still operates in analog mode. Every day, for decades, amazing quality to work with. It's made worse by the fact that I'm using a splitter. br>br>This device converts RCA cables and outputs into an HDMI connection. I plugged in the provided power cord, and voila, my old analog Dish account is operational. If you have this or similar new models of television, here's an important tip: Change the "standard" setting on your HDMI ports. My PS4 wouldn't produce a picture on the Bravia at first, so I'm guessing the new TVs have some faster HDMI rigamaroles. It took me a long time to figure out the solution.
Once we got our Sega out of storage, my nerdy husband needed this. The unit was up and running with a random brick and micro USB cord we had lying around the house once we realized the USB cord was required but not included. Ecco and Streets of Rage have taken my husband away from me.

I finally got a new smart tv, but they don't come with RCA plugs, so I had to experiment with different converters to connect my older DVD player and, by extension, my original Super Nintendo. This converter worked to get my DVD player to work with my smart TV, but the quality isn't "great. " It's a Samsung UHD television, and regardless of whether I set the converter to 720p or 1060p, the picture is still pixelated. So it's not perfect, but it'll do for now. I'm still having trouble getting the SNES to work, but it could be due to a variety of factors.
