However, it is functional. When we first plugged this in, we were very disappointed. Looking at the photo, it appears that all you have to do is connect it to the three cords and then to the HDMI. However, you'll need that other little thing in the box that connects the box to a POWER source with an HDMI port (any cell phone adapter or, in our case, the USB port on the back of the TV) in order to use it. Bob is now your uncle, as a result of what we did. PLEASE INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT THE BOX PART HAS ANOTHER CORD THAT MUST BE USED TO POWER THE ADAPTER. The graphics aren't bad; they're a little grainy, but that's to be expected on a 55-inch television. To be honest, they're not bad at all; after all, these graphics are old!.
This adapter worked when I plugged it in exactly like they showed! THANK YOU SO MUCH!.
If you don't make sure your games are clean before using this, you might get a blue screen of death. I recently purchased a and 64 for the first time in my life, and I figured this would be beneficial. It does the job; I turned it on and off to see if there was a difference, and it does. I'm not sorry I bought it. It is critical to keep the place clean. As I previously stated, as long as the propyl alcohol is pure, it will work well.
I purchased it because I needed to watch old VCR tapes and transfer them to my laptop. Doesn't work at all, even though everything is connected according to the instructions. Purchases should be avoided.
It throws my HDMI switch for a loop. This adapter displays a blue "no input" screen when the component is turned off. When I turn on any of the other components, my HDMI switch will no longer auto-switch. The blue screen goes away when I turn off the adapter's power, but the switch remains unresponsive. It's a real pain in the neck.
The output is connected to an HDMI to VGA adapter. After that, I connect my old monitor via VGA. To me, it appears to be in good working order. br>br>I also tested it on a 1080p monitor via HDMI, and the audio came through fine. So far, it appears to do what it's supposed to do, as long as it lasts a long time; there's a slight video distortion at the bottom, but we're getting picky at this point with such a low-cost product.
Well. It does exactly what it says on the tin. But not in a good way. br>br>From my gamecube, I have this hooked up to my 27-inch PC monitor. I didn't expect the picture quality to be excellent, so I'm not going to penalize you. However, there is some distortion on the right side of the screen, which is extremely irritating. Also, if it's connected to a screen that you don't typically turn off manually - For example, when a computer monitor is not in use, it usually turns off automatically. This converter will keep it on for as long as you want it to. The converter appears to send a constant signal to the screen when it is plugged in but not in use. That means you'll have to either manually turn off the monitor or disconnect the adapter if you're using something like a PC monitor that you don't normally turn off. br>br>I was just hoping for a little more from the product.
