Questions & Answers
This should work with any RCA device (RYG) that you want to connect to an HDMI device (most commonly a television). It will require its own source of power.
It will, I am certain. I'm sure any rca and hdmi combination you want to use will work fine, but depending on your television, you'll probably have to lower the resolution of your Xbox.
You must, in fact, plug in. into the void
China produces our RCA to HDMI converter.

These aren't meant to improve the quality of your images. They allow you to connect any old device (vcr, old gaming system, etc. ) to a newer television that does not have rca connectors. This was purchased to connect an old VCR to a new television and it works perfectly.
We replaced a 15-year-old Mitsubishi 1080p rear projection TV with a new Samsung 65" QLED 4K TV. We were very excited about our new TV, but when I went to connect it, I discovered it didn't have any analog composite (red, white, and yellow) inputs! This was a huge disappointment because we have an old Pioneer Laserdisc player (420p analog output only) that still works perfectly. We also have a sizable collection of Laserdiscs that we acquired from a local movie rental store that was closing down for next to nothing many years ago. We still enjoy those Laserdiscs, which contain a lot of rare concert footage that isn't available anywhere else. We wanted to be able to watch those discs for as long as possible. Plus, it was always amusing to see the expressions on the faces of some of our younger visitors when I'd pull out a Laserdisc and load it into the player, and they'd ask: "What in the world is that?" says the narrator. To put it another way, we weren't ready to let go of that older technology just yet. br>br>Initially, I planned to return the new TV and replace it with one that had composite analog inputs; however, I soon discovered that most (if not all) new HD 4K TVs no longer have analog composite inputs, leaving me with a dilemma. So, I decided to look on Amazon to see if anyone had a device that would allow me to connect the old Laserdisc player to the new TV using an HDMI cable. br>br>Sure enough, such an adapter exists, and this item is it. So I ordered one, it arrived two days later, and I am happy to report that it is in perfect working order! In fact, I was blown away by how well this adapter performed. The adapter does more than just convert the old analog signal to an HDMI output; it also upscales it to 1080p. The adapter's 1080p output is then further upscaled to 4K by the new Samsung TV. and the final product is absolutely breathtaking. We can't believe the picture quality of our old Laserdisc player and discs (a 40-year-old technology) that we can now watch on our new TV thanks to this fantastic adapter. br>br>The adapter is very small, easy to connect, and works perfectly. It even came with a short USB cable that could be used to charge it. I discovered that our new TV has a couple of powered USB ports alongside the HDMI input jacks, so I could have easily connected the adapter right next to all of the other TV inputs, but I decided to use a longer USB cable (I had several unused ones in a drawer) so that I could connect the bulky analog cables to the adapter in a location hidden behind our TV stand, reducing some of the "cable clutter" right behind the TV itself. br>br>At around $12 with free Prime shipping, this product is a steal for anyone who wants analog composite inputs in their new 4K flat panel HDTV.
It did exactly what it said it would do. This allows me to quickly switch between my retro gaming systems and access the AV inputs. This makes my life much easier because I no longer have to sit in front of the television all of the time. It has a switch that allows you to choose between 720p and 1080p. When displayed, I noticed a slight increase in smoothness. This product is one that I would recommend because it is a good value for the money.
I'm not sure where the other 20,000 reviews came from, but they aren't from genuine customers. br>This converter box does not work or claim to work as it should. It will connect and transfer data quickly, but it will not be able to produce a clear image. It was impossible to see anything in the images because they were so blurry. This box will not transfer data into the hdmi cable (720 or 1080) without complete data loss, resulting in a blurry image, regardless of whether it is connected to a PS2, Wii, or older consoles. br>I've already returned this because it's so disappointing. You get exactly what you pay for, and this is complete garbage.
I needed to upgrade from an old dvd player with only RCA jack outputs to a new television with hdmi inputs. This was the solution to the problem. It really works. It's simple to get started. The picture is of excellent quality.
Didn't work out.
The product works well and does not require any technical assistance; however, it would be even better if it could be used without the need for a power supply.
It allows you to watch your old movies on a new TV, but the picture quality is poor. It came with my Nintendo 64, N64, and SNES systems. With this unit, it's impossible to play.
