Our AZ summers are no problem after we have connected the screens thanks to a high temperature spray adhesive. Spray on each side, let it set, and then connect. It doesn't move after it sets, and keeps the screens connected for a long time.
This was ordered as part of a repair mission for a small speaker. My only requirement was a 3' by 4' piece of wood. *br>So, to answer your question, here is what I can tell you. After ordering two of these items, I received two different colored versions of them (one black and Additionally, there is a contradiction in the description of the product. The main description mentions charcoal color, but I was only able to read that portion of the text. There was a difference in the backing of the two as well, which told me the two kinds of material were different. had carpeted my sub box to about a third of the way. As soon as they send me a new carpet, I hope it matches the one I have ** Update ** Receive the replacement carpet and it is a very dark grey as well. As much as I hate to admit it, I found the light grey carpet already installed. In other words, it looks like the "real" grey is actually a very dark gray. The light grey has been installed on 1/2 my box and the dark grey has been ordered on the other half. The match is probably not going to happen, There is not one side that is light grey and one side that is dark grey. When you order, make sure you have all the carpet you need to finish the job before you start. All the colors are the same. Reducing the star rating from 2 to 1.
In my trunk I used this to cover a 1/4" piece of wood used as a trim piece around the subbox. As far as I can tell, it's of good quality and easy to work with. It isn't too thin, and it doesn't tear The color is a little different from the factory panels, but I suppose I should have expected that since I'd just been concerned about it being close and cheap. The product was excellent and I would definitely buy it.

A section of 2x4 plywood in place of a heavy sheet of 4x8 plywood made fighting less of a chore. Every carpet in this room was covered with a generous amount of carpet.
Carpet for cabinets of this quality is of very good quality. Other products work well but these are the best. Seams are virtually invisible when stitched. Folds easily around corners and cuts easily. My rack cases have been built with this product and I am very pleased with how they have turned out and how durable it is.
