A majority of my OTA TV channels are available on Cox Internet, while the other ones are available on OTA TV. It is working very well for both. The pieces of equipment are quite heavy and solid. Other than the fact that I am paying Cox 300Mbps service and I am getting well over 300Mbps speeds on my devices connected to the router, I cannot provide you with any other technical performance numbers. My opinion is that that is a great number. In addition, I have clear reception of over 40 channels OTA. It is all in all a good purchase for me.
Because it doesn't matter to me what the technical details of this adaptor are, I won't fill you in. The program does what it is meant to do, and I do not experience any internet slowdowns or drop outs.
used to think I had a good TV signal reception, but I didn't realize how bad it was until I upgraded to a Tolmannts Splitter. It was difficult to watch TV over the air and the signals were inconsistent. Channels dropped and the images pixelated as I walked by the TV. Using the Tolmennts Splitter for my receiver has changed all that, as I now have clear signals coming from over 100.
There was a problem with my connection that was causing my internet to slow down according to my cable provider. With this splitter, I was able to solve the problem.
Look at the status of your cable modem connection, and if you notice a lot of disconnects and errors, check your logs. I would guess that your home has faulty wiring. In my case, I decided to replace my old splitter on the side of the house with the tolminnts splitter. Voila! We no longer see any errors in the logs, and we no longer experience disconnections. If your service keeps disconnecting, make sure that your splitters are properly installed. I am using opti, with 400mbps service. Its metal body and waterproof design allows it to endure heavy rains and to function properly. My old splitter was rusty and the internet constantly went in and out when it rained, so it is probably that water got inside the housing and caused it to malfunction.
When I began experiencing signal quality problems on certain channels, it turned out to be a Verizon branded COAX splitter that had started randomly attenuating a narrow band around 690 MHz. Afterward, I swapped this unit for the old one, and all of my problems disappeared. I observed a slight advantage over the (high quality) Verizon supplied splitter(s) in terms of signal strength and speed when comparing QAM and MoCA signals. So, in short, if you don't mind the somewhat higher price and chunky form factor of these splitters, they appear to work pretty.
Built to last, this sturdy and quality set comes with screws and a mounting anchor. Incoming cable feed is split with this device. At both headends, the signal is good. I recommend it!.
It is far superior to the last one! Feel free to contact us. Don't wait! Buy one today! I would highly recommend this!.
