Product Description

This digital coaxial splitter is designed for use with HD TV signals, Satellite TV, and Internet Modems as well as Cable TV, Multi-Angle Antennas, Amplifiers, and other devices that use coaxial connections.
DIGIT RANGE - Disburses a digital signal on the frequency range Range of frequency 5 GHz (5-2500 MHz)
Dual outputs split a single digital signal to output to two devices at the same time, balanced, and with power feed-through
COAX CONNECTORS WITH GOLD PLATED CONNECTORS - Provide optimal connectivity, corrosion resistance, and compatibility with both RG59 and RG6 coax cables.
-Based technical support - backed by a limited life-time replacement pledge and free shipping within the United States. Our team of technical support technicians is available 7AM-8PM, Central Time, Monday through Friday to answer any questions you may have.

Questions & Answers

Can you tell me what the signal loss is Does the sound level rise or fall by 5 or 7 decibels?

want to know more about the four-year contract To do this, it must be at least 7 db, else the law of conservation of energy will be violated. A 1 dB loss represents 50% loss, so a 2 dB loss represents In an ideal splitter, the difference should be no more than The final grade was 4 The only way that has 3 steps is this. It would also be putting out more power than it receives due to a 5 dB loss per port. An dB loss of 7dB corresponds to a factor of four.

Every OUT port is protected by a diode, right?

I appreciate you asking about this, Chriswlan. Each OUT port is protected by an infrared Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions or to make a phone call between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. The hours are 800 AM to 600 AM The time zone for Central Standard Time is 1 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday The number is The number 654. Thanks for your kind words.

Could I connect my modem to my TV, my extendeder, and my computer with a splitter? My computer and its extender have a weak signal which I am not sure is caused by this. ?

Basically, you have to connect directly to the extender, then connect the extension to a splitter, then connect the TV and computer to that splitter.

What if the inserted dc on one output port of the antenna amp allowed it to appear on the second output port? Wouldn't this be hazardous for other connected TVs?

There are diodes at each output port that prevent unwanted dc crossover from another output port. *br>It eliminates the need to have a dc-adapter to work with mine. TV capacitors, which would add another 1 db of loss, need to be blocked. This is a very useful

These days, many people do the same thing. With the help of an OTA antenna and streaming services, I have chosen to cut the cord with cable and satellite. It came as a surprise to me. There was a beautiful big antenna in the attic that has been there since the previous owners lived there. It was stated that the OTA signal could be used with the satellite wiring that is already installed. It was indeed the TV's that received the signal. I had substantial pixelation in the runs because they are long. I tried an amplifier, but it actually made the problem cut a long story short, after much trial and error I found that my issue was with the splitter. This one is a ge brand and I have The problem has been resolved. There is full signal strength on almost all channels even though my house is 25 miles from the nearest tower. Compared to other splitters, this one has a very low loss rate. It's important not to reposition the antenna under the roof which is actually installed in the attic backwards, so no amplifier is needed. It may not be pretty, but I like the simple design of this little splitter from Ge.

Negative power sources (voltage sources) should only pass through the DC pass
3/5

The product was not as described! There is no way to do this for the most common antenna installations that have a remote amplifier. For the vast majority of users who use antenna mounted amplifiers, all ports pass power, even though this is not true for this splitter. You need to apply a positive voltage to the center conductor of your coaxial cable going to the antenna in order to use most amplifiers. The splitter interface appears to be protected by a diode that allows only a POSITIVE voltage to pass from the input to either of the outputs. In other words, none of the output ports can receive a positive voltage, and none of the output ports can receive a positive voltage from another output port, since the diodes are arranged back-to-back. Back to you. For people who need to pass positive voltage on the center conductor of coaxial cable, buy something else rather than waste hours troubleshooting.

Problems with my cable TV are now resolved

Throughout the last six months or so, there have been frequent video and audio jitters on my cable TV service. Since I've had the service in place for a decade. In the case of aging video splitters, a friend told me that they can cause the problem.

Waterproofed For Real with Low Resistance

I have been using it outside in Florida rain season for more than a month and nothing has failed. The price is very low for the amount of product you get. I have updated We have had this thing mounted outside for around 6 months now and it's still delivering strong signals. While these things can be bad straight out of the box, or fail after continuous exposure to extreme sun or wind-driven rain, this one has been very resilient in all those conditions and we have declared it a winner for outdoor use, except for freezing temperatures, for which I retired when my career ended.

Cord cutters can power up to 4 televisions without any amplifier

The following four sentences describe this The 3-way coaxial splitter is more efficient than many other splitters. Signal losses are very low within the internal network. The distance from my antenna to the central wiring closet is 75 feet, and the distance to the farthest TV is up to 85 feet. Despite being more than 200 miles away from its nearest TV, the TiVo Bolt (from Amazon) receives all of the channels. *I just cut off my hair Here is the We own two Rokus (from Amazon) so that we have access to several OTT video services, as well as several local channels that are not available on any OTT service. The splitter provided by Cable & Wireless meets all our needs.

You can get a good signal if you are receiving one

Using this splitter worked for me as I was having difficulty using an older splitter that was designed for FM radios only. Changing to a 4K TV made me realize how much better it was. There are more colors in the picture, and it is clearer. The Post. Over some time I noticed that OTA channels were getting pixelated and freezing when I used this splitter, so I stopped using it. The weather channel was quite low on the list of weak stations, but I was interested in getting it more than other weak stations that I did not After switching to the Extreme splitter, which is advertised as having only a 3 chip, it actually had a 3. 5 chip. I was able to pick up the weather channel with a 5 db loss (the channel on this particular channel has a 6 db loss).
