New CV98LM Replacement Remote Control Compatible with Amazon Fire TV Stick and Amazon Fire TV Box Without Voice Function

Upon finding out the remote for my Firestick had died, I trekked to a brick-and-mortar store, only to be charged $30 for a replacement! The generic remote made me worried that it wouldn't work properly because it was so generic. It works perfectly, and I'm so happy to say that. It is much easier to use than an app on a smartphone. There is no doubt that this remote is excellent. The only drawback is that it does not have voice options, and I never used them anyway.

When I couldn't find my remote in 2 days I knew it was gone so I looked online at Amazon for a replacement, for some strange reason they don't offer replacement remotes, please start doing this, but I was able to get this remote replaced. Here are a few pros As far as setting up a connection with my Firestick is concerned it works fine. Additionally, I attempted to connect the remote with another Firestick I have that I lost the remote to and it worked for it as well. This is extremely helpful, and I am now convinced it is a necessity to have. The cons are as follows If I had to spend $18, I would have preferred some batteries, even if they were inexpensive. I also received a return remote that wasn't new and had many scratches and was in black plastic, so I could really tell it was a return, but it worked so I didn't care. Lastly, I didn't care for the lack of Alexa, but I will have to purchase another TV remote that'll cost me at least $10, hopefully more, and keep my total cost with batteries at around $35, which makes me wonder if I should have bought another Firestick instead? I guess, but this review is not about my decision, but about the quality of my remote, so (1) it works well and (2) it works for all my other Firesticks and the future ones I'm going to lose the remote to makes it worth the money.

Original Firestick remote that I had is gone. I have found this device to work The keyboard does not include a microphone, so Alexa control was not possible however, the keyboard is well-designed It will be documented, and I do not like that. My only quibble is this I notice that it is a bit sluggish The button may be too sensitive? For some reason I sometimes have to press the button twice in order to activate a command.

The Fire stick cannot be paired with it. It does not have the ability to identify my lone Firestick or pair with it. As instructed, I sent an email to technical support where it said to do so. But I still have a useless remote and a Firestick that can't pair. Despite numerous attempts to contact me, I never got a reply.

You will not hear anyone's voice or hear any Easy to use, this fire stick remote is part of Amazon's fire stick collection. There is nothing special about this remote control. There is nothing fancy about it. The fire stick is fantastic. We don't need all the other stuff the Amazon fire stick comes with. This, this is the perfect product. I like how light it is. The size is small. It fitted easily into the palm of my hand. I like how well it is made. In the event the items become available again, I will purchase them again. I have noticed that anything customers are satisfied with and want to buy again, somehow, gets rave reviews. Has been discontinued and is no longer available. It may be - The price has been Right now, the price is great. In the future, I hope not to have to repeat the process ten times.

It looks as though the remote I received did not come from a brand new set. . In the end, it didn't matter whether it was new or used to me since it was affordable (cheap) and it worked. I give it a 5 out of 5. In the event that you are one of those people who complains about a dented box or a product that is not packaged to your standards, I suggest you look at the full-price The best part of my day.

I highly recommend this to replace the Firestick remote of the first generation. I believe there is only one 'con' to this it is hard to figure out which part of the item it is for, but there is a note in the description stating that the seller can be contacted before.

This was bought to replace the remote that came with Amazon Fire Stick without voice functionality. This remote works just like the original remote and I have no trouble pairing it with my Fire Stick. I have been very satisfied with this.
