The setup I use at work is 3 monitors, and I wanted the same for my home setup. My monitors all contain VGA ports, so I have plenty of options. As far as setting up my previous work setup (VGA connection to the laptop and It has only one VGA port, but it does have two Displayport video ports, so it works nicely with the Elitebook dock. Initially bought a new PC and discovered it didn't have the older VGA output but only the newer Display port connection and HDMI cable. As I already have three PCs connected to a VGA KVM switch, I need an adapter so that I can use my new PC as a VGA device. A few brands of KVM switches were available, so I went with the least expensive. It was truly plug and play, and my new PC was running on the KVM switch in less than two It is an excellent image quality and the resolution is 1920 x 1080. $7 is a great deal. It is a real bargain at just 99 bucks. Especially useful if you have an older VGA display and want to pair it with a newer PC.
