It depends on what type of "push" you're using I understand that you mean the "in" connector. There is the (square) "spring terminal" connector most commonly used on speakers that has a small hole for inserting cable, and then there is the newer (circular) "push-pull" connector that uses a pin to attach cable. Depending on how it is hooked up, it can either have a banana plug or bare cable attached.
Greetings for Kay, I am holding one of these darlings in my hand as I draft this response. There is no description of the specifications of the material in the flyer that comes with the box, but as a rough estimate I would say that it is brass based on it's weight and thickness. It appears that the collar you see in the picture is aluminum with rubber grips on the exterior, but it also appears that it contains brass elements on the interior. The Klipsch speakers are probably going to work very well with them, but they might be too big for the Denon receiver. Randy, I could not fit them into the speaker outputs of my 1980's Kenwood 9400 receiver.
The grade I received for my high school diploma is A- Denon end and these plugs work just fine for me. They feel great in the hand. The proof will be in the pudding. The surprise I received upon receiving them was pleasant. I would like to point out a few things There is no way for me to know what gauge wire you will use. 12 awg or smaller will fit into these plugs with no problems. I bought 8 awg wire, and it barely fits in the plugs. There is no need to sweat Then you owe it to yourself to get one of these bad boys!

These were on Amazon and I thought they looked interesting. Since times got tougher, people stopped spending money on small parts like banana plugs. As a professional A/V installer, I used to only carry Monster or Audio Quest banana plugs. This product caught my eye on Amazon and I decided to give it a go. I then compared them side by side with the ones I had from Monster once I received them. In many ways, they are the same. I would not be able to tell the difference if the labels were not clearly labelled. In addition, I now have a more economically priced option for customers to choose from. There are several pieces of this that save so much time and headaches. In special cases where you work in a tight cabinet where you have to spin the A/V receiver around a shelf that is too narrow for you to use. You will need to screw these into the speaker wire leads and plug them into the speaker jack on the I tell my clients that they will not significantly improve the sound quality, but they will ease your life as it relates to installation, and later on, if you need to call for service. The majority of clients are happy to pay an additional $20 if the benefits, such as saving $50 in the long run, are well worth it. I would like to point out that these are only for screw post These connectors will not work with spring terminals. The spring terminal connectors from Mediabridge come in a different style.
When connected to speaker wire, they are awesome, but you will need 12 gauge speaker wire. I have these from Bluejeans Cable and Monster The Monster product has many strands of fine copper wire inside. Once the wire is inserted through the bottom of the banana plug, it is very easy to wiggle them out with my finger until they are able to bend over the teeth of the crimp. This banana plug pairs perfectly with speaker wire made of fine copper strands. It fits securely, is easy to use, and looks fantastic. A banana plug using this style of copper isn't compatible with wires with too thick strands of copper inside them. If the individual copper strands inside your wire are too thick, this type of banana plug cannot It won't be possible for you to bend the copper strands around the crimping teeth without snapping a lot of them and puncturing your fingertips.
Choosing these over the other, more expensive plugs is why I bought two sets of these.
Why these over the 1) gold plated
2) a little fatter, might be a con, but the wire will be locked in better
3) design of notched teeth makes the wire easier to grip
4) simple packaging was much better to store the leftover It was much more difficult to remove the other brand from a plastic block
5) I had left over pieces because these are more affordable, and they come with enough plugs to work on the receiver as well as both left and right channels (a total of 7). I am 7. Ya ya. There will be an atmos release on March 1. Why do we need these in the first place? 1) I have been meaning to do this every time I move the receiver but have been too lax because it is an infrequent shift. It seems very easy to make a mistake as my last reciever moved 14 times in the last 8 years. However, I ended up completely wiring and unwiring my reciever 5 times this month due to a faulty unit, and I'm glad I bought this one. As soon as you need to unhook your receiver for the first time, you will be glad that you made the initial investment.
They've been available for a long time, but I never took advantage of them. It hasn't been a problem. I love how easy it is to plug and unplug speakers from my receiver, especially since I cannot reach the back very easily.
There is a potential problem however, in that these "stick out" so if you are in a tight space, you may find that the extra space is a hindrance. A few rights-holders are out there You can buy angle plugs which may help with this issue, but I have not tried them yet. The pictures below show the before and after, along with the back of my receiver (denon As I plan to upgrade to Atmos in the near future, it will be so much easier and quicker to disconnect the speakers from the old receiver and reconnect them Your new receiver must be connected to the old ones.
As I was searching on Amazon for the best plugs I could get quickly, I came across this very reasonably priced set that was very well rated. This is what I liked about it Please note that. Despite being very wide at the tail end of the plug, it is able to fit insulation inside. Using this banana plug will therefore save you the step of removing as much insulation The size of about a half inch is sufficient - The inside pipe has a lot of gap between it and the screw thread of the outside pipe, so that you don't really need to be precise in how much cable copper you fold over the inside pipe before you screw the outside thread That is why it is less sensitive than Blue Jeans Cable banana plugs.
- Because the widest part of the plug is rubber coated, there is less of a possibility for a short to occur. To ensure that the tail end of the cable is not able to move too much in the plug, you need to wrap the extra electrical tape (if possible matching the color of the terminal) around it, so that its tail end does not come untied. As a result, you may have to put more work into it and you may need to be cautious while you tape You may want to tidy it up a bit to make it look neat and well finished. There is a possibility you can cause a short if you accidentally touch the front or the end of a plug to a nearby plug because the rubber coating only covers the middle section. As an alternative, the Blue Jeans Cables banana plugs come with heatshrink that covers the whole outside area. Compared to the gold-plated Blue Jeans Cable banana plugs, which are extremely heavy and well made, this version does not feel as heavy or sturdy This is a fair value in the end, since it is made of copper and coated with a finish. In contrast, the Blue Jeans Cable banana plugs cost more like $2 per piece when these banana plugs cost about $1 per piece. There are two prices for each piece, $5 and $4. The Blue Jeans Cable banana plugs from Blue Jeans Cable offer good quality at a fair price. If you want better (and are willing to wait a bit longer for it) you will need to pay 250% to 400% more. However, if you need banana plugs in a hurry, these will do just fine. I still think the Blue Jean Cable banana plugs are best for permanent installation, but these are decent enough for temporary installations.
