This product might not be compatible with your Ipod device, depending on how old it is

It is a good product for playing music temporarily from an Ipod or similar device. In terms of the downside, it might not be compatible anymore after a few months of constant use and you might need to replace it regularly. A 7th Generation Ipod Video device of mine has been with me for at least 4 years and sometimes the USB cable does not work well with This USB charger is a keeper if you simply want to make use of the 50,000+ songs that you have saved on your Ipod to play on your computer and other high quality audio instruments.

The charger lasted a while when I plugged in an old iPod, but it gets a little screechy. This causes the screen to become stuck on "ok to disconnect. ". My next step is to hook it up to an old radio I have to take Even so, it performs the task for which I need it. You are charged.
