I think it's good for the money,, but I wouldn't buy this from apple,,, buy it from knukonceptz here on amazon
3/5

Compared to knukonceptz's 12g on amazon, this is a much better buy, but keep in mind that the price is decent, but it is not 12g. There is a difference between the real stuff and the fake stuff that is worth the extra 15 dollars. Flexibility is of course one of its key characteristics. I agree it is not bad, but it simply isn't true 12g as they claim it to be.

This is a great wire
5/5

Purchased to use for the main speakers in a home theater setup, thought I'd see whether it could stand up to 12 and 14 awg wires I had around for comparison (see photos below). About 1 inch will be cut off. We removed the copper insulation from the first 75" of each wire. Precision balance used to measure the metal weight in each core This is *br. The following are the 2 grams A review of the Pyramid Power 12 AWG (see review 2). This is how many grams have been added I purchased an XP 14 awg around 2000 which was discontinued in 2018. This is what 8 g looks like I bought a 14 gauge at my local hardware store in 201201. The following directions apply to two grams The product page for Installgear 12 AWG copper wire here on Amazon (this wire)* Checking the dimensions for stranded copper wire, this wire is right on spec at *18 pounds/1000 feet. Despite the labeling on the sheath, the Monster wire is actually 16 awg, which would have been more accurate if it had been marketed as such. didn't go through the trouble of taking enough wire off each spool to measure the resistance of the different wires (I didn't want to bother). Although I was unable to verify the OFC claim for the Installgear, and it did not have any features unique to them, it has the nicest handling and looks the best with its smoked insulation. A wire as complex as Monster is not to be taken lightly. There are two outer layers of insulation and a clear plastic core around which the copper strands run. The 12 gauge version would have been more expensive per foot than the Installgear, but I suppose I would have purchased more of it if it were available.

Buyer beware! The particular spool you are looking at is junk! The gauge is definitely OFC, based on the type of material
3/5

How can we solve this There is no way you can separate the two wires. The total opposite of what I expected! Even after separating the wires I had to separate the wire to join the various voice coils, which was impossible. I just needed to separate the wire to join the various voice coils and bam I ripped the insulation off completely from one side. Then I tore them apart and tried to separate them. The wires are all almost together within a single insulation, so even a razor cut will do no good. InstallGear is now on my radar, and now I will think twice before ordering The truth is that it's pretty sad. In any case, be very careful as you can't successfully separate the wires without tearing out the metal. It is at your own risk to buy.

Are you spending? Yes, I agree
5/5

Is it trending? Without a doubt. I have never seen a wire as nice as this one. There are many reasons why this product is good it looks great, it lays flat, and You might also find it a little spendy, but I don't think you'll regret it, especially if you think others The termination I made consisted of some really nice MediaBridge connectors which look just as nice as they sound.

I think the price was good for the quality
5/5

Despite its translucent nature, the insulation is quite thick. As well as being nice to look at and feel, it is highly functional. There is no need for it to kink when pulled, as commented by other viewers The bonus is here! It has been my experience that copper cables come in a lot of thickness. I did not think it was a true 12AWG but it also doesn't seem to be a thin 14AWG. There are thicker cables I have seen. The end of the world does not mean As for the thickness, it is copper, not CCA, which is what I was looking Inspecting using a magnifying glass, I have found no traces of aluminum in the inner core after using a wire cutter to make a small cut on the I will be able to use it for what I need it for The word bi- The amp wiring for the front channels has a run of 7ft per channel An 8 Ohm impedance is used for all four channels (2 Left and 2 Right). *Will it be worth the price after determining the spool length?

I may provide an update after determining the spool length.

The quality is excellent and the flexibility is excellent as well
5/5

With its very high level of copper strands and the flexibility of the polymer used in the insulation, this speaker wire is not only a pleasure to work with, but it also has excellent electrical properties for It is easy to remove the insulation, and the fine strands are easy to work with and to lay over a surface Because of the wire's flexibility, it lies flat on the floor, and the curvature of the wire is not retained when it is on a spool. It has been a pleasure working with this wire. It is a finely stranded, 12 gauge wire with 99 strands. A 9% OFC is required for my speakers to work. The other thing that helped was that I could buy a 30-foot spool since I only needed 20 feet, instead of having to pay for and store 80 feet more material The sound from the speakers is also fantastic.

OFC wire of excellent quality at a reasonable price
5/5

high quality oxygen free copper wire that I have used to wire my sub in the box and then the amp to it with great success. Wires with a thick jacket are flexible and extremely strong. In order to ensure you are not losing power to your subwoofer, I highly recommend at least 12 gauge OFC wire. Save a few bucks on CCA wire by not trying to cut corners on it. It is simply worth the nominal amount when it comes to good engineering. For the price I paid, I could not be happier!.

I'm in it for the long haul! The cables to my front speakers are excellent
5/5

I am very pleased with the quality. The LRC (12AWG) speakers are my primary speakers, whereas the Monoprice 14AWG speakers I use for surround and atmos (14AWG). There is a lot more weight and beauty to them than Monoprice. This InstallGear uses rubber rather than pvc plastic! Monoprice cables use some sort of pvc plastic, and this InstallGear uses polyurethane! This is a good idea. It appears to be a more well-made product. It also worked with the InstallGear 12awg cable for Monoprice bananas, but I had some problems making it work with Monoprice bananas. It required me to cut off some rubber so that I could fit a slimmer cable inside. The Mediabridge XLR bananas hold up to 8awg cables, so if you plan on using this cable with bananas, I strongly recommend you try those!.
