Thus, I got these cables, which I cut and wired so I could use It was nice to learn that the cables had dual shielded coaxial cable internal to them. In other words, you have two coax wires AND wires that shield them. Nevertheless, when I checked the coax wires with an ohm meter, I found that they were not used basically both sides of the coaxial cable were hooked up to the RCA's center pins. Ground is the metal shielding of the outer casing. In the end, it's not such a big deal. It's just funny that they paid for the extra coax wire, but then didn't In the beginning, they probably intended to use coax wiring, but the cost of soldering the coax up was too high, so they switched to another method.

My vintage Pioneer amplifier is connected to this cable because the output of my computer is analog. There must have been an error in the assembly of the color rings at the factory.
