I live in the country, and it works well even when it's raining.
I live in the country in south Alabama, and I get 20-plus hours of sleep per night. 75 miles south, there are 30 channels with local programming.
Analogue television was popular for many years. The government (FCC) changed the rules, and now TV is broadcast in a digital format that must be decoded before it can be displayed. Most modern televisions come equipped with a digital tuner; all you have to do is connect the antenna and have the TV scan for channels. When your TV is old or doesn't have a built-in digital converter, you'll need to use a digital converter box. They're not available on any of my projectors. As a result, before the projector, I'll need a converter box. To double-check, turn on each TV and scan the channels. You won't need the extra decoder box if it can scan for digital.
1) Plug any digital TV into the ANT IN port on the back. 2) Set up the digital antenna in the best possible location. br>br>3) After selecting 'Menu' and then 'Channel Search,' you are ready to watch TV.

I believe their prices are excessive, and I knew I could do better. I also have Amazon Fire sticks with the Kofi program installed, which I love. Local stations were the only thing missing, but I was fine until I learned about this antenna. I placed my order expecting the worst, and boy, was I surprised! It provides me with 36 digital channels, despite the fact that I am 60 miles away from the broadcasting tower. The only reason this antenna is delicate is that it is made of aluminum, which is easily bent if not handled carefully. You will have no problems if you handle it carefully. It's on the DirecTV post that's attached to the side of my fireplace chimney. It was as simple as removing the dish from the post and disconnecting the cable. After attaching the antenna to the post, I reconnected the cable and was ready to go. It was simple enough to do, but your safety should always come first. Once inside the house, I plugged in the power supply unit that came with the antenna, and everything was ready to go. After the TV tuner finished finding channels, I went through all of my free channels. If you get a fuzzy picture or black squares on any channel, loosen the bracket and turn the antenna on the post. Once the picture clears up, retighten it and you're good to go. This is something I should've done a long time ago. It reminds me of the days when television channels could only be received via antenna. Although not all of the channels are HD, they all have excellent image quality.
At my new location, my 65-mile antenna, which cost more, picked up no channels. I bought this set up and it picked up 50 channels right away without me having to put it on a pole outside; I'm amazed it works so well. I've already told one of my coworkers about it. worker! The antenna is capable of receiving OTA channels even when mounted at a low height. The majority of the previous interference is no longer present. Even after the antenna has been pointed in the best direction, it appears that the unit must be kept plugged in. (The antenna direction controller and amplifier must both be built into the unit. ) When the signal was at its best, we noticed that turning the unit off degraded the quality. We're hoping for a long life from the electronics, because I can now receive all of my locals without having to rotate the antenna. On top of that, I have never experienced such amazing product support. I would 100% recommend this brand antenna to any one without qualification.
You have come to the right place if you're looking for the best HDTV Outdoor Antenna. Everything you need for the installation is included in one low price, and the installation and assembly are simple and straightforward; I was able to mount the antenna on my roof in less than 10 minutes. The entire process took less than 30 minutes, from unboxing to free viewing of crystal clear HD channels. This antenna also has the capability of providing a signal to two televisions without the use of a splitter. This is extremely useful and makes the installation process much cleaner and simpler. According to the range's specs, it has a 150-pound payload capacity. I can attest to its range, having received stations from 70 miles away with ease. To summarize, you'll get crystal clear HD reception, ease of use and installation, high quality, and low cost. br>br>The antenna was inexpensive enough that a spare should be purchased in case of damage from the wind or hail. The antenna can be rotated by the control box/remote, but there's no way to tell which way it's pointed without going outside and looking at it. Perhaps the more expensive kits have more user-friendly features. Control boxes that are both friendly and useful. Because rotating is inconvenient, I'll probably use this one as a fixed antenna, then point another fixed antenna in a different direction to pick up a couple of local PBS stations, and then connect them both just before the splitter. Even if you spend more, I believe you will not find a better antenna. This HDTV Amplified Outdoor Antenna comes highly recommended by me to anyone looking to cut the cord without sacrificing their entertainment.
I was unsure if this would work because I live in a hunting cabin in the middle of nowhere. Binghamton, about 40 miles away, is the closest city. I decided to give it a try because of the low price and free shipping. It's incredibly simple to put together and use. I simply mounted it on the deck rail with a short scrap piece of 3/4 pipe and a plumbing flange. We couldn't believe we had reception after doing a channel search on the television! Furthermore, we had a number of local radio stations. We couldn't be more pleased. Fine tuning is possible thanks to the rotator assembly. It was well worth the money!.
To start, my only gripe is that the description explicitly states that 4k broadcasts are available, which does not appear to be the case. The packaging and user manuals make no mention of 4k and only make a passing reference to 1080p. Yes, this device was hooked up to a 4K television. It's possible that no one in my area broadcasts in 4k, but given that the product marketing makes no mention of it, I wouldn't expect it if you're looking to buy one. For that discrepancy, I deducted one star. The rest of it is fantastic! br>br> br>br>I am a 50-year-old woman who lives in a 50-year-old mansion. 60 miles from the nearest tower, and an old antenna that had been damaged in a storm needed to be replaced. This item cost $40 at the time of my purchase, and it was well worth the money. It works both with and without the power supply, but it performs significantly better when the power is connected. Although it appears to be inexpensive, it was simple to set up and install. br>br>I had about 50 channels with no power, a lot of fragmentation and delays on some channels, and no channel could go above 720p. Because of the fragmentation, I'd say about a third of the channels picked up were unwatchable. We picked up 78 channels with the power supply connected, with very little fragmentation, and all of the major local channels came in at 1080i, which looked fantastic! There may be one or two. There are 5 channels that are unwatchable, but they're very obscure things I've never heard of, so it's most likely not a problem with this device, but rather a problem with the signal strength of that channel and our proximity.
100% would recommend and buy again again again again again again again again again again again again a.
