Questions & Answers

I'm also curious about the motor's source of energy. ?

This antenna's most interesting feature. The coax cable that connects the control box and the antenna provides power to the motor. The rotor motor can be controlled without the use of any additional wires.

I have four televisions; is there a way for me to connect this to all four? What am I looking for? thanks?

A splitter is required and is only used after the control box. DO NOT use a switch or splitter between the Antenna and the Control Box; instead, connect the provided cable directly to the control box (Power Supply). Please contact [email protected] if the cable isn't long enough. If you need to connect through a wall cable outlet, make sure there isn't a splitter in the way. You have the option of using an F-score. If you need to extend your cable or connect the cable from the antenna to the cable that is already installed, use an F coupler (Splice Adapter). If you need to connect splitters, see the "Connect the antenna to splitter" section.

Is it possible to mount this on a house's exterior wall?

The antenna comes with a mounting bracket that can be used to attach it to a wall on the outside. Because the bracket can be adjusted to any angle, it's a simple installation.

Is it possible to use this as a deck?

Sure, as long as you can point it in the general direction of the broadcast towers.

Antenna Kit of the Year! (I also didn't use a rotor or a pre-programmed sequence

) Amp). If you've been looking for a cheap OTA antenna, you've probably come across quite a few. I returned to the original location. After going back and forth on a few, I decided to go for it. This unit was chosen. And it's a good thing I did! It has exceeded my expectations after nearly a month of use. br>br>The unit arrived well packaged from the vendor, complete with all of the necessary parts for installation. For the mounting portion of your installation, you'll need a few tools, but which ones you'll need will depend on whether you're mounting indoors or outdoors. More information can be found in the manual. The documentation is adequate (though not exceptional), but you should be able to complete the project with the information provided. br>br>This kit includes a mounting pole, 40' RG6 coax, a rotor control (to turn the antenna remotely), and a pre-assembled antenna. The antenna is amplified Hardware for mounting. There is some light assembly required, but it is very simple. br>br>**There is a cheaper version of this antenna available, but it DOES NOT COME WITH A MOUNTING POLE. As a result, double-check that the version you're using is the right one. *
br>In addition, some OTA antennas do not come with coax, a mounting pole, or a pre-installed antenna. amp. These are extra costs in addition to the antenna purchase. As a result, before you buy any antenna, make sure you read the fine print. All of these elements are included in this model. br>br>Of course, you're not getting a top-of-the-line pre-owned car for the price. amp, or even high-quality RG6, but for most applications, it should suffice, especially if installed indoors (mine was in an attic) and protected from the elements. br>br>And in case you were wondering, the pre- The rotor control box (not the coax feed) is the source of power for amp. So, if you don't use the rotor to turn the antenna on demand, you won't be able to use the pre-set options. amp. br>br>As a result, if you require the pre-recorded audio, Even if you aren't going to use the rotor control, you must connect it. However, if neither is required, they can be completely ignored. br>br>You can also connect this antenna directly to a signal booster (drop amplifier), such as a PCT (PCT-1). 9U). These are available for around $50 on Amazon. 00 - $100. 00 (varies by size) features that you require So, if you already have coax jacks in your house from a previous cable or satellite TV installation, you can use them for your new antenna. This way, your antenna signal will reach all (or nearly all) of the TVs in your home! Please keep in mind that your location, proximity to your broadcast towers, and potential sources of interference (trees, buildings, mountains, etc. ) are all factors to consider. ) & When using ANY OTA antenna, the height of your mount is a HUGE DEAL. br>br>Because I live in Florida, the terrain is fairly flat. The majority of the broadcast towers, on the other hand, are 30-story structures. The distance is 45 miles. In addition, the antenna was installed inside the building. 15' to 16' in the air is the maximum height allowed. As a result, it's a low number. However, even with an indoor installation (and without the use of the pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre amp) was able to pick up 57 OTA channels with relative ease! While some people blame the antenna when they can only pick up a few stations, there are a lot of other moving parts that have to come together for this to work. If this is your first time installing an OTA antenna, please use a free site like "tvfool" or "antennaweb" (Google these) to figure out which way your broadcast towers are facing in relation to where you'll be mounting your antenna. These services will also tell you which channels you'll be able to receive with your chosen antenna. All you have to do is enter your address. All of the information you require will be provided by the site. Make sure you do this BEFORE you buy any antenna to ensure it's worth your time. br>br>One last point: make sure you re-calibrate your antenna. Every now and then, take a look at the channels on your TV. again. Channels are repackaged (placed under new channel assignments). New channels are added all the time. So, if a channel that was previously broadcasting suddenly vanishes, it's possible that the problem isn't with your antenna, but with the broadcast signal itself. br>br>In general, this antenna was simple to set up. I used two 2" wood screws with washers directly into a truss to mount the mast because I was mounting it indoors, and the antenna is attached with two bolts (ratchet). sockets work well in this situation) You have completed your task. I can't speak for an outdoor installation, but I'd expect it to be more involved. br>br>Because my equipment panel was directly below the antenna in the laundry room, I shortened the included RG6 cable (only dual shield, no quad shield) to around 15'. If you do this, one end of the cable will need to be crimped with a new compression connector. On the other hand, an entire kit (including F connectors and a coax stripper) is available for purchase on Amazon. For less than $20, you can get the crimp tool. Bestar 3189 (Blue-) 00 (Bestar 3189 (Blue-) 00 (Bestar 3189 ( F) ). It's a piece of cake. You've got this! Having a shorter run can also improve the performance of your signal. So, if you have extra cable after your installation, think about cutting it down to the exact length you require. br>br>The most difficult part of the installation is determining the ideal sweet spot for your broadcast towers. The best thing you can do is use the websites listed above to determine the tower directions BEFORE you begin your installation. Then bring a compass (a real one) or use a smartphone compass (which is what I did). It worked flawlessly) to assist you in pointing your antenna in the right direction. If you have a helper, have them scan the channels once you've found the direction you want to go. It might take a few tries, but it'll be worth it (especially if you're not using the rotor function). Cell phones or walkie-talkies work well in this situation: )br>br>And if you ever needed it, they were very helpful. Although it is only by email, they responded within 24 hours. I am eager to assist. get any questions you might have answered I'll update this review if anything changes. br>br> However, I've been very pleased with this kit after almost a month of use. It's great not having to pay the cable company for stations that are otherwise available for free all over the place - in high-definition (HD) format!.

MANY CLEAR CHANNELS TO CHOOSE FROM
5/5

This is fantastic! I received the package and assembled the antenna by hand using the enclosed instructions, which were simple to follow and did not necessitate the use of any tools. I powered up the antenna in the house and tested the rotation/motor, which worked as expected (I didn't use the remote because I didn't have any batteries, so I used the dock instead). I grabbed my ladder and tools, as well as extra wood screws and washers, because the package only came with two wood screws (in my opinion, insufficient). Climbed to the top of my roof, installed the bracket on the side of my chimney tunnel exit, and then installed the antenna with pole. Because I didn't want to drill through my wall, I ran the antenna's coaxial cable down the side of my house and into my house with the help of a flat coaxial jumper cable. I was up and running once I connected a second coaxial cable from my house's window flat jumper cable to the antenna power box, as well as a third coaxial cable from the power box to my TV. I used our favorite channel, which used to be fuzzy and studdered until I got good reception, to troubleshoot the antenna rotation. The wonderful news is that Once our favorite channel had perfect reception, I used my TV's settings to automatically save all viewable channels, giving me a total of 54 channels to watch with my family (we live in Belton, MO). In my opinion, that's a win. With our typical indoor antenna, we had less than 10 channels that stuttered before. Now we'll see how long it lasts and how well it works in inclement weather such as rain and snow. I'm not sure how well the material would hold up in the Arizona sun, but we'll give it a shot when we return.

Outside, I mounted it on a 10-foot pole, and the response was fantastic! The signal is much more powerful
5/5

Last fall, I placed an order for an antenna. The attic was used as a storage space. The reception was fine during the day, but it was sporadic after dark. For a few months, I communicated with engineers at local TV stations in an attempt to improve the reception. This antenna is situated in a densely forested area with large trees ranging in size from 80 to 200 years old. It stands at a height of one hundred feet. Pingbingding received the technical communication, and I sent photos of the installation. They gave feedback in return. Pingbingding approached me about a month ago and asked if I would be willing to try a different antenna "for free. " Naturally, I said yes. A new antenna arrived about a week later. Outside, I mounted it on a 10-foot pole, and the response was fantastic! The signal is much more powerful. Model of the antenna is: WA- 2900 pingbringding was great to work with, and I would highly recommend it if your current antenna is giving you trouble. br>br>pingbringding was great to work with, and I would highly recommend it if your current antenna is giving you trouble. I got a lot of follow-up questions. I sent them an email with some follow-up questions, and they responded quickly.

This is a fantastic antenna that is simple to assemble
5/5

I tried a lot of antennas to find a TV station that my wife wanted, and I finally did. This is a fantastic antenna that is simple to assemble. The control box had a problem, but the customer service was excellent. I was blown away by how quickly customer service responded to all of my inquiries and ensured that I was satisfied with my purchase. I can receive 102 channels, which is twice as many as any other antenna I've used. I even experimented with a $200 antenna. This antenna is 2x better for the price of 00 dollars. The antenna comes fully assembled, which I like. Pole and coax Remote control, control box The rotate function does not necessitate the use of an additional wire. The antenna snaps together to make assembly simple. I'm a picky guy who rarely gives five stars, but this one truly deserves it. I give the antenna a five-star rating, and the customer service is also a five-star rating.

This is an excellent product for receiving TV signals in rural areas
5/5

Are you fed up with no reception? It's possible that this is the right option for you. Over 70 miles away from any broadcaster, I live in a rural, hilly area surrounded by trees. Amplified "old school" antennae were unable to receive signals. This item arrived quickly, and it was simple to put together. br>br>Now I can utilize the full potential of my large-screen HDTV. (Finally) fantastic image quality. There are a lot of channels to choose from now. Consider how many free channels a large city could offer. Paying for free television is no longer an option.
