You can. With my antenna, I tried the GE Indoor TV Amplifier but saw no benefit. It's unlikely to help if you're connecting to your TV directly. If you're using a longer coax, you might want to amplify at the antenna to compensate for the extra loss. Confirm that a weak signal is the issue using your TV signal strength meter. Looking at other amplifiers, it's possible that cellular interference is causing issues (add-on filters are available for this, and the clue would be good cell reception with poor TV reception).
I put it in a window because it had adhesive, but no channels appeared.
The short answer is: Yes. The antenna is unaffected by the television's size. The size of the antenna, on the other hand, has an impact on the quality of the TV signal.

The antenna was ordered, but it took a long time to arrive. A replacement order was sent by Amazon. It took about two days for the replacement to arrive. Indoor antennas come in a variety of shapes, sizes, brands, and prices. I'm blown away. Screwing it in is simple. It does not loosen up. The antenna was on the bedside table. I hadn't yet disconnected the phone. A station appeared as soon as the TV was turned on. The color is bright and clear. Finding a suitable location for the antenna was simple. I decided to keep the original and move it down the stairs when the replacement arrived. I experimented with one location and found it to be ideal. In my neighborhood, there is one local station about which everyone complains. So far, there have been no issues. Finally, I can watch local stations without having to adjust the antenna every time I change channels or the time of day.
I only write reviews if I'm blown away. Needless to say, I was impressed by this antenna. I had previously ordered several thin leaf antennas (from various companies) from Amazon, hoping that each one would be better than the last, but they were all mediocre until I received this one. By mediocre, I mean that if the antenna was in one location but not all, I would pick up some but not all channels, and if I moved the antenna, I would pick up some new channels while losing some from before. Until this unit arrived, I was unable to receive all of the channels I desired. br>br>I'm not sure why antenna technology differs between antennas, and it's possible that you won't be able to benefit in the same way that I did. Even within the same manufacturer's product line, there could be some variation. It'll take some trial and error before you find one you like. br>br>Some thoughts: 1. br>br> Common sense dictates that you position the antenna near a window sill.
2. I tried an antenna with active amplifiers, but I couldn't tell the difference in reception between the two. This one does not include an amplifier, but I don't think it's necessary. br>br>Wishing you the best of luck.
I recently relocated from the bottom of a mountain and received very few stations despite having a rooftop uhf/vhf antenna. br>br>Fast forward to my new place, which is 10 miles closer to the city (25 miles), and I wanted to put up a quick, easy-to-use antenna for the TV in my small 3 season sunroom. br>br>I didn't expect much from this, especially given the low price, but I'm completely blown away! FIVE HUNDRED AND ONE CHANNELS are available to me! WHAT? We recently experienced a particularly rainy/stormy ten days here, and while a few of the channels were affected by the extreme weather, I must say that this was money well spent! When viewed from the street, this antenna is almost invisible because I have white Venetian blinds in my windows. You won't get as many channels as I do, but if you live near the transmission towers like I do, you'll be very happy with this antenna! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. br>br>.
I needed a simple HD TV antenna that could pick up the local network channels as well as a few other digital channels. This was exactly what I was looking for. My metro area is approximately 30 miles away. Although this antenna is a little smaller than I had hoped, I am still able to receive over 45 channels, the majority of which are crystal clear. This is located near the ceiling of my garage. It's a good deal for what you get. Also, the antenna appears to be oriented incorrectly in the photo I've attached; the antenna is near the top of the garage ceiling, and the cable wire is dangling down towards the ground.
This is fantastic! I have it connected to a TV in my kitchen where I only watch the local news as background noise while preparing meals. It can easily handle 50 local channels. Most of the time, it is not in my native tongue. But it's still impressive, and the clear antenna panel blends in nicely with cafe curtains in our window. Both the image and audio quality are excellent. (Signals are strong because I'm in the New York metro area. ).
For the money, it does a decent job! Check your television's range, as this one only has a 40-mile range. The range is 50 miles. But for $20, it's hard to beat! Even though I'm in the middle of nowhere, I get nearly every available channel.
We are a 15-minute drive from the city center. The distance between our local stations is 20 miles as the crow flies. The terrain is mostly flat, with a few minor hills thrown in for good measure. On four of the five channels, it works fine, but on channel 15, it does not. Artifacts abound on all 15 channels, rendering them unreadable. The picture quality on the other channels and subchannels is excellent. br>br>I have it mounted behind the TV on the first floor (where they told me not to put it). The stations are on the NE side of the building, and the antenna is on the SW side of the first floor, away from any windows. At one point, I had a less expensive antenna that worked in this location as well.
For my kitchen, I even purchased a new TV. I tried a few antennas, some of which cost three times as much as this one, but none of them worked. This is the one that works best for us in our particular situation. I didn't use glue tabs, but rather a metal clip/stand, and I can now receive all channels again after losing the most important ones for me at the beginning of the summer, most likely due to station changes.
