Questions & Answers

Basically, the only difference between the 8+ and 8 is What should we expect from these features 1) more RAM, 2) a more powerful charger, 3) wireless charging, and 4) a ?

It is the speed of the storage and the amount of RAM, in addition to the quad-core (four-core) processors that have a great deal to do with perceived speed. Quad-core processors are present in both the HD8 and the HD+. Aside from the RAM, there is no difference between the 8+ and the 8. RAM is 3 GB in the HD8 + and 2 GB in the HD8. With the HD8+, you get 30% more RAM! Even though the HD10 is a top-line phone with high-definition and an eight core processor, it only comes with There is no doubt that a faster HD8+ is possible since it has an extra gigabyte of RAM. I no longer use wireless charging due to the fact that it creates a lot of heat. The heat inside solid state components as well as the battery is the enemy. The 8+ has more RAM. The HD10 has an Octa core processor and it's faster. I'd recommend the HD10 if speed is your main concern, and you do want full-HD. The HD10 doesn't have more RAM. I don't understand why they aren't adding more RAM. There are both USB C ports on both devices I prefer that to the old Micro USB port that can only be inserted one way. Plugging in a USB C is the same regardless of how it is connected. Battery life can be extended with wireless charging.

Are there any dictation capabilities on the fire HD 8 plus?

As you can see, it does come with a mic so you can use the hands-free Alexa capability. If you can find an app on the Amazon app store that facilitates dictation, then you could use the device for that purpose. As far as I know, it doesn't come with any apps preloaded A dictation file has been loaded.

When can I use this tablet outside in the sun?

On all backlit displays, like the Fire HD 8, even moderately bright sunlight washes out the display just as it would on a Samsung Galaxy Tab or an

The HD10 is better for gaming with its two gigs of RAM and its two gig octacore but is the HD8 plus better with its three gigs of RAM and quad core?

The fact that it makes a difference to me sure does! What games you are interested in may determine how many you can play. The Gamerix company owns Township, a huge game site I spent a lot of time on. People from all over the country come out to A few years ago, I downloaded this game for free from Amazon. Recent upgrades were quite large and a lot of work was done in that area. As of this time, I was using a Kindle 7 (generation 9) with 32 gigabyte Android operating system, and 2 GB of RAM. In the end, I wasn't able to play. I had only used Township for a bit less than a year, but a lot of memory seems to be necessary for the software. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to succeed. gigabytes of memory and 3 gigabytes of storage. I felt a huge difference after reading this! There might be a problem with the extra memory. Despite my inexperience with the sound, I enjoyed the speed much more than the previous one, and I am able to do some things that I could not (In this case, it doesn't matter to me what the sound is. For myself, I proved the point by getting my daughter the older Township version of the game that I had but recently purchased, yet she did not have some of the perks that I have in the Township game now. makes sounds as well! That doesn't seem fair to me. Our model showed that she could play the game better than her older version, but it did not prove to be superior to her older model. It's a pleasure to use the tablet and wireless charger
5/5

The trade-in program should not be used. The Fire 8 HD Plus takes a big step up from the Fire 8 HD of the previous generation. I really like the speed and the battery. With QI wireless charging, your phone will charge quickly and easily. It can definitely be seen in the use of the tablet that it has 3gb of RAM. This is what I have to say about it. It is a joke that there is a trade in program. In a letter, they quote you $10 for the 8th Gen. When you send it in, they tell you it didn't meet the standards, so they reduce the amount to $5 and charge you $5 more. The standard I met is high, so I can't comprehend why mine fell below it. There has been a screen protector and a case on it since the day it was purchased. The LCD screen has no scratches, no blemishes, it has a full charge, and it has been properly wiped. According to their standards, this doesn't meet their requirements. It wouldn't surprise you if I learned my lesson after being ripped off by their trade-in program before trading in an Echo 1st Gen. When you trade in an item with Amazon, they give you a joke and then cut it all in half or all together and expect you to just suffer through Please take note, and do not use the trade in program. Although I buy quite a bit of stuff from Amazon, I will never promote its trade in program and I will always voice my opinion in the event that anyone is considering It's a shame that Amazon allowed this to happen.

The tablet does not need to be updated - it is very disappointing
3/5

This is yet another tablet that bills itself as being "all-in-one" A “new” thing is nothing new. It seems that if you are looking at an 8" tablet for the first time, the new Fire HD models might be worth considering (though there are deals and features from other manufacturers as well - Although you may want to wait or look elsewhere if you are contemplating an upgrade from Fire 8, I would suggest you wait. Yes, the Fire HD 8 and 8 Plus are faster than previous models - but we still find that previous models are more than adequate for almost everything we do with a You can get email, watch video, and browse the internet. There's nothing new about the screen on the new Fire 8, even though it is the same resolution and size as earlier models (so you will need a new case for it).

Which do you get for 89 dollars or (for the Plus) $109 dollars? With the USB drive you get There is a modest increase in speed with the C connection. That's all there is to As far as the new Fire 8 is concerned, it does not have any truly innovative features. This tablet is advertised as "just waiting for you to enjoy your favourite apps," but that was also possible with prior As well as the heavily-trashed Amazon touted 12 hours' battery life on the 2018 Fire 8? That was also true for that device! The Fire 8 lacks an upgraded screen, another feature the Fire 8 could have used, but it doesn't receive. In case you are ready to replace your current tablet with a new 8" phablet, you may want to consider other options. I do not believe that today is the.

Can you tell me where the cases are? I don't have any problems with the tablets
3/5

The cases are nowhere to be seen, but where can they be found? We all lose our smartphones and tablets occasionally, and how many times have you seen the screens crack when people drop them? There is no need to be intimidated by corvids! Currently, Amazon says 19 people have already complained, but no mention is made on the FAQ page of how the issue will be handled. It is listed on Amazon that one of the cases has the access holes for the camera, power button and volume buttons located.

HDX's successor should be worthy of its predecessor
5/5

Known as the holy grail of Fire tablets, the HDX was the first to become available. The Fire HDX was the epitome of a quality, inexpensive Android tablet. I've been a Fire user since the original (I recently traded it in for the new HD 8 Plus). Besides having great screen quality and fast performance, this laptop was also reliable and fast. Because of my constant use of my phone, its battery died and I had to replace it just to make sure I could keep using it after Amazon stopped updating its apps. In all honesty, I was extremely disappointed when I decided to upgrade to the HD 8 (8th gen). There is no point in buying the HD 8. There is much embarrassment involved here. Even Amazon products like Alexa and Music do not function properly, and the browser runs at such a slow speed that it is practically Since I came across the new HD 8 plus, I decided to replace the HD 8 with the new model. An HDX successor worthy of the HDX name! It has finally pushed out the 7-digit figure as you can see in the image I uploaded The year is Better still, Amazon supports all the apps and it runs excellently. HDX is faster, but Amazon supports all the apps. Here's an application that works as expected -- a quick browser, dependable email, and (check it out) it actually runs Amazon Music A hundred bucks is a great deal.

My Fire HD 6 had reached the end of its life expectancy and I was in the market for a replacement
5/5

The Fire HD 8 Plus offers excellent technical specs at an affordable price. Due to my love for the text-to-speech feature on Kindle devices, I use my Fire tablets primarily as Kindle devices. This feature allows you to speak. that you can also ask Alexa Echo devices to read you your Kindle books? Even if this functionality alone isn't worth the price, the product would still be worth it. For those who would like to read or listen to Kindle books, watch streaming video content (Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, etc. ), or just casually browse the web, the Fire HD 8 is a great alternative. I have had the 'Special Offers' on both of my Fire tablets I can live with them without any problems. A few of my favorite features are I will - The battery life of this device is amazing! I will - I have turned on Alexa's Show Mode The Amazon Echo Show on a wireless device! I will - The text- A way to speak to your Kindle
A memory that can be expanded to a maximum of 1TB*- The quality of sound you get with Dolby speakers is decent
- The grade is 3 out of 5. The audio jack on the computer is a 5mm audio jack- The device comes with 3GB of RAM and a 32GB SSD A wireless charger is available (plus model)* - An excellent Integrated Wireless Charging Dock (sold separately) by Angeat is highlighted by a 10-Watt design- I had a few minor gripes with how it was designed I will - My only wish is that the included charging cable had a longer length. I purchased a wireless charging dock however
- If it were possible the 'Plus' model could come in more colors, that would be wonderful - There is room for improvement in the quality of the camera
The Fingerprint Magnet can be found here - Default inclusion of Google Play Store is not available.

I like what you've built
5/5

Even though it is made of plastic, the device feels rugged and durable. It feels like it will last a long time. There is no reason why I would not recommend this product. I have previously owned a Kindle and it is still in excellent.
