There is no problem with my MacBook Pro. To be honest, I don't think it'll be a problem with any device.
The slider fell off after a week, but the base is still intact. The goal is being defeated.
They're small and don't draw attention to themselves. My laptop is an 11-inch Chromebook, and it fits perfectly.
Yes, depending on what you're using it for, it's either easy or super easy to remove. My laptop's hasn't moved in months, but the one on my iPad moves around a little. It works, but you may need to replace or reposition it after 6 months if it is on glass.

It's a complete waste of money to do this. First and foremost, it is difficult to handle due to its small size. The second problem is that it does not adhere. I put it on and held it in place for about a minute to make sure it would stay in place, but as soon as you try to slide the very small shutter, it falls off the computer. Construction is very low-cost. They came in a hard, resealable plastic box, so they appear to have given more thought to the packaging. I believe they spent more money on the packaging than on the covers' construction. On the plus side, it's a bad product. Amazon Prime membership is free for two years. Shipping is available the next day. Woo Hoo. At the very least, I didn't have to wait for it to be discovered that it was garbage.
I bought the three-pack. Two of the three, however, failed to adhere to the surface. I used an alcohol pad to clean the surface and then applied the first cover after it had dried. The cover came off as I was trying to slide it over. It is self-evident that the force is not 3M. The second one, the cover did not fit the slide, and it was two separate pieces. br>br>I figured no big deal, have anotherbr>br> That was a waste of time. br>br>So far, the third one is holding up. Slide the cover back and forth, and it appears to stay in place. The cover slides back and forth easily, which is a plus. It's fairly simple to set up. However, as far as I can tell, this size may not be suitable for all notebook or other device cameras. br>br>I'd suggest going with a different vendor and double-checking the measurements.
Design is good, but execution is lacking. These stickies have a great design, but the execution is terrible. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM FELL OFF ON THE SAME DAY THAT THEY WERE INSTALLED. Before sticking them on, I even cleaned the phone's surface. I needed a case for my phone's front-facing camera. Make sure you don't throw your money away.
This was an unwise purchase. These were purchased because they arrived in a reasonable amount of time. As a pandemic-preparedness measure, I required this. I knew it would be a little too wide for the bezel of my computer (overlaps the screen a bit and hangs over the edge of my computer when centered around my webcam) so I bought a product I knew would be a little too wide for the bezel of my computer. I could also tell they'd be flimsy based on the listing. Those seemed like reasonable trade-offs in exchange for being able to get my hands on the product in a week or less. br>br>What I didn't expect was that the slider has such low friction that it moves when you pick it up or tilt it. You don't have to touch the webcam cover itself if you don't want to. When the computer is moved, the slider moves with it. This is inconvenient for this type of device; I need something that stays closed until I decide to slide it open, specifically for situations where I'm moving my computer from one location to another. If, on the other hand, I need to move my computer or rearrange my workspace while in a web-based application, I can do so. It's not ok to have a meeting based on that. when the slightest tilt of my laptop causes my webcam cover to spontaneously obscure the camera It is stated in the listing that it locks in place when closed, so it will not slide open when you do not want it to. That is why I decided to purchase this model. There's no friction, and it doesn't *lock* in place! This is deceptive marketing. br>br>Hopefully, once the pandemic is over, better products will be available, as these are a pretty bad stopgap measure. a way to bridge the gap.
I'm afraid I won't be able to give these a positive review. They're tiny, to begin with. Even the size of a grain of rice is insignificant. You might be able to get the window to open without covering an edge of the camera if you place it just right. Probably. br>Then there's the adhesive itself, which requires 24 hours to fully set according to the instructions. You'll have a hard time keeping it on for that long. It took me 12 seconds to beat my previous time. To give you an idea, I was trying to stick it to a brand new laptop right out of the box. Last but not least, there's the window. After a couple of attempts at sticking it on because the adhesive wouldn't stick, the two pieces fell apart and were impossible to reassemble due to their small size. br>I believe it includes number six in the package because number five will go to Gail and number six may work out. I didn't make it all the way to the end.
When I open and close my iPad mini cover, the slide moves far too freely, and I frequently expose my camera. After two months, the adhesion has worn off, and the covers have fallen off. A year ago, on the other hand, I paid $3 for a set of small sticker-style covers. The slide not only stays put until I want it to, but it's still holding up.
This is a piece of plastic that is overpriced. I bought it primarily because I was in a hurry and liked the idea of something more aesthetically pleasing than what I could have come up with on my own. When it arrived, it was too big for my camera. As a result, even when it was set to open, it blocked portions of the screen. When I tried to remove the glue that had stuck behind, I believe I damaged my camera in the process. Use a sticky note or some tape to save time.
These are effective, but they are prohibitively expensive for the value they provide. You won't be getting anything substantial to hold onto and press into place. Instead, it's a very thin piece of plastic that's difficult to grasp in order to properly position it. Furthermore, unlike some more expensive models, there is no indication whether the device is open or closed. br>br>I'd only use these for notebooks, as you'll need something very thin to keep The Notebook from closing properly. Get something a little bigger with an indicator for desktops, tablets, and other devices that don't require this consideration.
