The cover does not click to one side or the other, so keep an eye on it because it may have slid open while you were expecting it to be closed. When I put my phone in and take it out of my pocket, this happens frequently. The one on my laptop, on the other hand, stays put. It has a low profile and does not appear to obstruct anything.

" It has been reported that these smaller webcam covers can be used with the new 16" MacBook Pro. br>br>I didn't do my homework, and my screen cracked two days after installation. Thankfully, I was able to exchange my MacBook Pro for a new one (thank you, Costco). However, this is a major problem that Apple, as well as these third-party manufacturers, should publicize. br>br>While this webcam cover works well on my older 13" and 15" MacBook Pros, it is not compatible with the new 16" model. You've been given fair warning. Thankfully, my error did not cost me anything, and I hope that by sharing this, someone else will avoid the frustrations of a broken display.

These were purchased to replace some old, worn-out plastic covers. Both of my issues appear to have been resolved by these. Unlike the old covers, which slid open and shut whenever they felt like it, these ones stay put. Also, unlike the old ones, the covers do not pop out when viewed sideways. br>br>I've seen a couple of people complain that these don't stick very well. They adhere well to my newest laptop's crosshatch texture. Before you put them on, make sure the surface is clean and dry. They won't stick to your fingerprints because they're oily. They stick well to my laptops' plastic bezels (even the textured ones) and my phone and tablet's oleophobic glass screen protectors. Yes, they're tiny, but remember that the camera lens is only the tiny pinhole in the center. The camera on both of my laptops is surrounded by large, circular frames, but they are only that. Frames. The framing on some of them is two-layered. It makes no difference whether the frame is covered or not. Simply place the pinhole in the middle of the opening to center it.

However, there are some challenges. It fits in my laptop's teeny-tiny frame. So that's a 5 out of 5! I also decided to use them on my phone and tablet. But the reason why I gave it 4 stars on Adhesion and Easy to install is because it really isn't 100% easy nor is the adhesive 100% until you press it% br>br>Because these items are so small, you'll need to use the provided transparent sticker, which is larger and easier to grasp. However, on small frames and equipment, this can be a problem. It's fine, but it's not the most straightforward solution. When I was installing one of these, the adhesive caused me to lose it. I didn't press it hard enough, so it came off, and when I tried to reattach it with my fingers, I accidentally touched the adhesive, causing it to fail. I pressed it down hard enough on the next one, and it hasn't come loose yet. So it gets four stars from me because it holds if you press it hard and long enough. However, it is not so good that it sticks with little effort. br>br>I will say that I recommend this product to others and that I will purchase more if the need arises. The shutter that you slide to cover the camera moves freely with your finger, but not so freely that it moves on its own.

I guess I should have paid more attention to the measurements. Because the hole is so small, and the sticky side only lasts once for placement, these were difficult to get on the camera. They're smooth with no gripping on the front slide, but I figured that wouldn't be an issue. it does. Because my iPad sits higher, my cover does not cover it. However, it would be fine if it were longer because it would be more durable. I managed to knock two of them off while attempting to slide these ones. I'm irritated because these aren't cheap, even though they're only for six people, and they're so small. Because I'm getting a new phone this week, I won't be able to use them any longer. These were primarily for my 12-inch IPad Pro. I am a person who takes care of things and is fairly gentle with them, so these disappointed me. I'm going to look for something that has some sort of gripping and is a little longer. I hope this information is useful to you. br>br>Shipping was quick, and the product arrived in good condition.

I bought these for my phone and they work reasonably well for the most part.
1. Adhesion works well and is simple to implement. br>2. If you have a case on your phone and a high-resolution camera, it will most likely not fit. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and a slim case, and I could barely get it to fit while still being functional. I also believe that because the camera is circular rather than square or rectangular, you lose out when wearing a case because the circle cuts into the top of the camera.
3. As other reviewers have stated, after a short period of time, the tension or whatever is holding the sliding cover in place weakens and begins to move on its own, constantly opening, defeating the purpose of the cover. br>You get good value for the amount in a pack and can simply swap them out, but it would be so much better if it had a square design that gave you more flexibility when placing the cover on your phone when using a case.

These covers have had mixed results; they're difficult to apply and don't stick well to screen protectors. They stick pretty well and do a good job when applied directly to the glass displays on MBPs and iMacs, but they never seem to stay stuck on more portable devices like iPads and iPhones with screen protectors, and when used on an iPhone in particular with everyday use, they keep sliding off the camera lens area. On some of them, the sliding cover is also annoyingly loose, and it frequently opens on its own when the device is tilted. In my opinion, this is the best option for static desktop devices.
