ZUGU CASE - 9.7 iPad 2018/2017 5th / 6th Gen & iPad Air 1 Prodigy X Case - Very Protective But Thin + Convenient Magnetic Stand + Sleep/Wake Cover - A1893, A1954, A1823, A1822, A1474, A1475, A1476

Although I adore this case, particularly the magnetic stand, it does have a couple of flaws. The charging port and volume controls, in particular, have been harmed. The cutouts are large and easy to access, but the case edge in these areas is flimsy. There is likely a loss of rigidity on the screen sides in these areas because of the size of the cutouts. I'm hoping that these areas do not loosen any further, but only time will tell. Everything else about this case is fantastic: nice leather, solid feel, and it fits the new iPad 5 perfectly. If the aforementioned areas loosen over time, I'll come back and adjust the rating, but for now, I'm sticking with 5 stars for the solid build quality and clever magnet stand; it's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it. br>***Update 08/17/2018**
I've been dealing with this case for about 7 months. It's my every-day carry-on, and it's in perfect condition. The shaky areas around the volume controls and lightning port haven't loosened in the least. The magnetic stand is brilliant; no other case I've owned comes close to this case's versatility and stability. The product is still a 5 star.

I agree with other reviews that the case is not as snug on the short sides as it is on the long sides. I've uploaded some photos. Aside from this one flaw, the product as a whole protects against front and back damage, as well as drops. The case does make the tablet a little heavier and bulkier, but I'm willing to put up with it for added security and peace of mind. br>br>CURRENT (1/22/20) UPDATE: The disadvantages I mentioned earlier are no longer valid. This case has no flaws. Anything else would be a waste of money. I would strongly suggest it.

This is, without a doubt, the best iPad case available. It's a high-quality case that's built to last. The ZUGU case, in my opinion, doubles the utility of your iPad by allowing you to use it on your lap or stomach while laying down. It has seven preset positions that allow you to lock the case open at seven different angles. It locks in place and is so sturdy that you can almost throw it around and it will stay at the angle you set it at once you open it and choose the angle that's right for the situation, which takes 2 seconds. The leather is of exceptional quality, and the design is brilliant. I bought my first ZUGU case for my iPad three years ago and have shown it to a lot of people because I believe that once you put your iPad in this case and use it for a few days, you will never go back. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A BETTER IPAD CASE! br>Just as the iPad 5 is smaller than the 2, this new iPad 5 version is much thinner than the one I purchased years ago for my 2 edition IPad. br>I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of this case!.

The case can be securely propped up using two suitable magnets on the back of the kickstand. In a few "middle"spots away from the corners, the rubber around the sides of the case is a little looser than I'd like it to be, but the corners (where it counts) hold the iPad tightly into the case and don't seem to be going anywhere in the event of a fall. I'm confident that this case would keep the iPad safe in the event of a fall. (If this occurs, I'll update the review. ) ) The stand holds the iPad so securely that I'm less likely to buy a keyboard because I'm more comfortable typing on the screen (though I do miss the feel of the keyboard keys and may still buy one). This is an excellent case, and the product description appears to be correct. I'm glad I made the purchase. My workplace employs a variety of other well-known and extremely durable drop-in desks. With a magnet that wraps around the iPad, these cases are extremely durable. I believe I prefer the functionality of this case and am equally confident in its ability to protect my iPad. Other secure iPad cases, in my opinion, are more cumbersome and bulky to use. It is also worthwhile to mention: When I first saw the photos, I was concerned about the case's ability to hold the Apple Pencil. The long piece of elastic keeps the pencil firmly in place. The pencil won't budge no matter how hard I shake the case sideways. It gives me a lot more confidence in my decision to take my Apple Pencil on trips with the iPad. This is a fantastic situation to be in. br>br>5/1 Update: br>I was completely frazzled and dropped my ipad for the first time about 4 feet onto the hard airport floor while being told to empty our pockets completely and remove all electronics and food from our bags before getting to the TSA tables (while still standing in the moving line). There was no damage to the iPad at all, and even the Apple Pencil in the back of the case was undamaged. This product is well designed and does exactly what it is supposed to do, so I give it 5 stars.
