I was required to install an update 3 weeks after I bought this computer, which I was told to do on my DSL took 8+ hours. Following the update I was asked to reboot, following which I was asked all the same things as if I were setting the computer for the first time. A week after the update, my computer stopped working with my printer, which was working just fine before the update. I talked to two different AppleTechs (I have a service plan) about the download issue and another tech about the printer problem. I was unable to get my problem fixed. It took an entire day to complete the transaction. There will be a refund on my account from Amazon.

Since I started using Apple products, I have been devoted to them. Since my work allows me to use laptops and desktops with Windows, I have had the chance to get to know the OS. In the past, I have owned Windows laptops and desktop computers for home use, but I will never go back to them again. In addition to my current MacBook Air, iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, HomePods, Apple TV and now this new iMac, I also have a MacBook Pro that I use as my desk computer. A single iCloud account ties everything together for Apple. It is so much easier to live when everything works together. Now that I have upgraded to this iMac, I have a SSD drive, which with the new M1 processor makes this machine fast. Really fast. The migration assistance software that the iMac came with made it easy to migrate everything from my old iMac's I was up and running in no time with my old desktop settings and all of my Apps from my old iMac onto the new machine. Rosetta 2 translates and runs a few Apps that are still Intel CPU based. Besides the 24-inch display, I value the ease of use as well. The colors are beautiful, and the resolution is superb. reader on the keyboard is nice, but I am used to getting into my old iMac using my Apple Watch, so it wouldn't be essential.

Furthermore, I purchased the Microsoft for Mac conversion so that I could continue to utilize WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT on my Mac. Likewise, I set up the transfer of files from my laptop computer to my Even though it took about an hour to transfer files, I was able to do so successfully. However, it did not transfer photos or favorite bookmarks, so I had to go to each website and save it I spent some time getting used to Safari, but it is much faster than the other sites I have used in the past. For example, I took 3 minutes to get to my bank's website on my PC, but within 5 seconds on the iMac. In spite of all it can do, I still don't fully understand all that this machine is capable of. As for my age, I am 78, so don't panic about learning something new if you have never used an Apple product. It is also recommended that you purchase the extended warranty that allows you to contact Apple support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I highly recommend these people because they are extremely nice and have the ability to solve any problems you might encounter. An Apple iMac is definitely worth checking out!.

I ordered this mainly because I needed a mac in order to develop IOS games (I'm not docking a star, but it is annoying to have to publish from a mac instead of a Personally, I enjoy the minimalist design of the mac because I'm not a fan of the Mac and don't expect to use it much I would be reluctant to buy a computer that I would use a lot if I was shopping for it. It's not bad for speed and power, but the adorable mouse and keyboard are not The sizes and shapes of both of them are awkward.

The Apple iMac has been my main computer for years, and I enjoy it very much. It has now shut down while turned off twice and it takes several minutes for the mouse to mount when I restart the computer. A mouse is necessary for it to work properly.
