This is a handy little rack
4/5

I'm not including the wheels in this review because I'm not using it with them. It arrived in pieces, in a box that was relatively flat. It was simple and quick to put together. It's just as easy to use it without the wheels as it is with them, though there are mounting plates on the bottom panel that add a little thickness to the panel where the wheels would be mounted. br>br>This is a 'permanent' installation for a power backup and distribution system that I have set up. It's just big enough to fit everything, and instead of stacking them, it's easier to move them to a rack mount model. br>br>On top/bottom, I would have preferred it to waste a little less space (a little more than an inch from the outside top to the top of the upper 1U, and a little more than an inch from the outside bottom (less wheels) to the bottom of the lower 1U). It is not possible to use the top 1U where I have it. It would have fit better and given me that extra space for expansion if it had wasted a half inch less at the top and bottom. This is something I believe they could have done, but it would have required a slightly more complicated shape or a thicker plate for the top and bottom pieces. I'd like to deduct half a star, but Amazon only allows for full stars. br>br>The dimensions appear to be good from side to side; According to the dimensions, the front to back is the same. br>br>When fully assembled, it is fairly heavy, but not significantly so. When fully loaded, the handles appear to be more of a convenient way to pull it around (assuming you use the wheels) than a safe way to pick it up (the power system I have in it pushes the rack's manufacturer's stated weight limit pretty close to the manufacturer's stated weight limit). It's impossible for me to pick up my setup without at least four people; It's not going to be enough with just two handles. But it's not a big deal because my setup isn't designed to be moved. The handles are recessed, so they don't protrude and get in the way of other items. br>br>In general, I'd give this a 9 out of 10 rating.

This is an excellent rack
5/5

It's a beast of a server rack, this thing. It's made of thick, heavy-duty steel, and I'm confident it will hold up to 200 pounds. I currently have a UPS and a 1U server with a 2U storage array. I'm planning on adding an extra battery to the UPS, and I'm confident that the rack will be able to handle the additional weight. The wheels have a good amount of strength to them. They don't appear to be completely plastic, but rather slightly rubberized. Moving the rack around is relatively quiet, especially when loaded with equipment (I did slightly lubricate the wheels after assembly because they had a slight squeak). In general, I'm very happy with the results. It includes a lot of hardware for mounting your equipment. If the need arises, I will most likely purchase again.

Excellent rack that is simple to assemble and looks fantastic! Overall, it took me about 45 minutes to put the Rack together (including adding some acoustic foam because I was going to use it in my living room)
5/5

I wasn't sure if the foam was necessary, but the 10Gb switch (Netgear) can be quite noisy, so I was taking precautions. With a rack-mounted system, The unit is fairly self-contained thanks to a bottom-mounted UPS. It's contained and looks a lot nicer than it did on the previous table. Depending on how the Rack and any Shelves are configured, it can become extremely dense and difficult to work with. Nothing to be surprised about, but if you're anything like me, you'll feel your age when you're done.

The cabinet is well-secured and noise levels are kept to a minimum
5/5

Ideal for use in a home office. The cabinet was in excellent condition when it arrived, and it was simple to wheel and lock into place. It blends in nicely with the rest of the office furniture. Both front and back doors have locks and provide excellent access. The interior fans ventilating the room can only be heard faintly from outside the cabinet due to the low noise levels. The cabinet is sturdy, and on top of it, I placed a laserjet printer. The wire entry is through the bottom at the back, and it is foam rubber packed. Shelving that is relatively simple to put up.

Excellent quality
5/5

Very nice, high-quality, and well-balanced looking for a rack of equipment The audio equipment was housed in this in a nursing home chapel. Even though it is visible from the front of the room, it is not as unattractive as a standard rack. When you realize your associate put the top on backwards, it is very sturdy, but it disassembles and reassembles easily:.

It's well-made and durable
5/5

I have a few racks in my garage. Some appear to be designed for low-intensity use. Others are commercial racks that are legitimate. This is a genuine one. It isn't as attractive as some of the others. There are no attractive glass doors. Simply a tough and durable rack.

It's a well-made product that's well worth the money
5/5

The instructions are the only drawback to this sturdy, well-designed rack that would look good in any office. Despite the fact that I've built hundreds of cabinets like this, I'm still tripped up by the lack of actual words and marginal images. Plan to buy a second if this doesn't work out. I was blown away.

The unit is excellent, but the sizes listed are incorrect
4/5

The unit is fantastic, but the height listed on the website is incorrect! The number 81 refers to the age of the unit. Without the roof and its bolts, it stands at 5" tall. That's a significant improvement over 75. Because the standard door size is 80", we've added 5" to the length.
