To completely close the valve, it takes a lot of force
3/5

The valve handle wouldn't turn completely perpendicular to the valve's long axis when I tried to close it. As a result, the valve wasn't fully shut. br>br>Despite exerting considerable force, I was unable to close the valve. br>br>When I ordered a replacement valve from Amazon, it had the same issue as the original valve. As a result, I returned both valves to Amazon and replaced them with an EK valve that does not require a lot of force to open or close.

So far, everything has gone well
5/5

On the first run, the fittings had no leaks and a month later, they were still leak-free. The Corsair soft tubing fits perfectly.

Instead of rotary 90 degree fittings, I received fixed 90 degree fittings
3/5

$26 was the price I paid. Instead of two rotary fittings, I got two fixed 90 degree fittings for 99 dollars - I had two others from the Corsair HydroX kit, which were exactly as pictured and described, and they were not what I ordered or worth what I paid. In comparison, the repaired ones I received felt and looked very cheap. br>br>However, at the time, I reasoned that I had simply ordered the wrong item and that it was not worth the trouble of returning it and ordering two new ones. I also purchased an EK male to female rotary fitting, which saved my project; however, now that I've realized I ordered the correct parts but received the incorrect ones, I'm a little disappointed I overpaid. br>br>Edit: br>Instead of being as pictured, the product I received looks exactly like these, except it's black (wondering how I can get the $11 back). Amazon is giving me 99 cents back.

When it's tight, don't count on it to come off
3/5

I've used nearly every water-cooled G 1/4 fitting on the market over the last ten years. Here on Amazon, I bought 12 fittings. When I move hardware around for competitive overclocking, I remove the hard line PET 16 mm and replace it with soft tubing from the CPU waterblock to the GPU waterblock(s). On my hardware, I put these fittings in. So, when it's time to rearrange things, I drain my system and then can't loosen the top of the fitting to remove the " Corsair soft tubing. " It's locked in place, and I had to put it on by hand. Do I need to get a tool now? That is incorrect. Then, with the system up and running, one tube comes off with the thing, and I have to throw away my ASUS Apex Z490 and Evga 2080TI because of this product, which I can't afford.

Annoyed - It should be more efficient
3/5

They completely seal some of the time and leak a little at other times. I have four of these: one for the feed line, one for the drain line, one for the exhaust line, and one for the exhaust bypass. When pressure testing at 0 psi, two of them completely close and there is no leakage. I put them on my feed and drain lines because there were five of them. When pressure testing the other two, they leak slowly, so I installed them on my exhaust and bypass, where they should work fine under normal conditions. However, it's a little disappointing. The two that leak are unable to hold even a single digit. I'm worried that with 25 bars of pressure, the other two will eventually stop fully sealing. Another thing that irritates me is that when fittings are screwed into either end, they don't lock down very well. Any amount of twist will easily unthread them from the valve, regardless of how tight you try to screw them in. The knobs are also not perfectly aligned. When they're open or closed, they're usually a little tilted, and where the knob stops varies from one to the next. Some people are likely to be concerned about this. Perhaps it should at this price.

There are too many fittings with uncoated areas
3/5

While the product arrived in attractive foam packaging, many of the fittings lacked a protective coating, with one in particular being quite poor. I can hide them behind the outlets, but it demonstrates a lack of quality control. The fittings appear to be identical to those used by Barrow, and I have yet to notice any loose coating. br>br>Overall, I was dissatisfied with Corsair's quality. There are two really bad fitting coatings, and seven out of eight fittings have at least one missing piece of coating.

Compression fittings of exceptional quality
5/5

These come in a top-of-the-line fancy product box. The compression fittings are of excellent quality and are made of high-quality materials. They're simple to put together and don't leak.

In general, the installation was simple
4/5

I would have given this 5 stars if the title made it clear that these fittings are for softline tubing rather than hardline tubing, but I don't want my ignorance to detract from the product, and after that confusion and having to wait an extra week to build my PC, I was surprised at how easy these were to use. The trick is to screw the fitting into the component (such as the pump or cpu block) and then slide the tubing over the fitting. I had some trouble figuring out how to install these with the tubing because of my ignorance at work.
