Antique with a high price tag
There's a cost for this solution if you have an old collection of CDs you want imported into your iTunes library. Adding this drive to your brand-new MacBook will allow you to watch DVDs on your old DVD collection if you still have them. The Blu-ray player is available if you want it I apologize for the lack of compatibility with Blu-ray players. As a peripheral, this device is very limited in its utility. There would be no Blu-ray, and there is a much higher price than there should be Taking a ray compatible version is a waste of time. My only reason for buying this was so I could import my collection of CDs. Having said that, it works reasonably fast, came new and in a box, and was That's all there is to it.
Bottom of the page needs to have Apple Logo
There was a ten-dollar savings at Amazon over how much Apple charges for the same product. As far as Apple is concerned, we have it all. I found it to be super easy to install. Thankfully, I read the reviews and remembered that one reviewer noted that if the Apple logo is displayed on top, it is upside down. That was what my spouse was intending to do with it. Flip it over so that the silver side faces you. The machine is both slim and compact. The disc player and burner both work Thus far, there haven't been any problems. Despite the fact that there is no disc slot on the new iMac desktops, we are disappointed. As a result of upgrading our desktop recently, we discovered this. There isn't much space taken up by at least one, so DVD movies or CDs already owned by those who want to watch them can be played. It is now necessary to buy a product like this to allow access to video content, or stream video and music for free if you don't. That's too bad.

Don't let anything go wrong
It does not appear that my MacBookPro with High Sierra recognizes this Apple USB SuperDrive. * I find this very Is not beneficial for enhancing trust in ordering when based on "Apple is great". Amazon will be notified. Buying a different brand of portable CD Drive for $19 has proven much more economical. There are 99 and , there's nothing. I was able to accomplish this with no problem.

The design is excellent, it is quiet, it is slow, and it cannot The recommendation is not to be followed
This drive was purchased so that I could find one that was well built and of high quality There is silence. My computer is connected to a PC and I use it A MAC Mini was only recently added to our home. I really like the design of this drive, as well as the build quality It is quiet, but it is at the cost of not There is a great deal of delay. It's especially important to rip CDs when doing it. At least one of the higher numbered tracks is failing on ripping recently. I do not know when it first started having these issues. Unfortunately, the drive has not completed the rip and the track is corrupt. The end of the track is usually where you will find this. In the last few CDs I ripped, there have been four instances of this happening. There are some CDs that are long, and two that are not, so do you know if it has to do with the position on the CD? In any case, do your best to save some money Try something else instead. You're not gonna get anything out of that Superdrive!.

Very well done! The fact that it is an Apple product really makes it stand out
Don't be put off by any negative My first reaction was to disbelief, but it is as if you are listening to only the sounds of an Apple superdrive. Despite being very light and quiet, the drive does not produce any noise. This bag is easy to carry! Buying would be a good idea for anyone. As for my updated MacBook Pro (2017 with touchbar), you'll need an apple adapter to connect the USB cable to it. It is pricey, but definitely worth it. It looks like you need the Apple adapter to use this with other adapters, but I believe other adapters cannot be used without the Apple adapter. There's no reason not to have it!.

If you are using it right side up (plain aluminum), make sure you switch it to It's a great camera and I've ordered one for my dad as well
After spending an hour on the phone with him talking about the new disk, I told him the new one kept spitting them You may want to take note of this tidbit if you are trying to help someone with the same problem make sure the Superdrive is right side up (plain aluminum), and the black side with the Apple logo is on It might be natural to assume that the logo should be on.

You only record if you're okay with that
As an initial purchase, I got an "Amazon's Choice" external recorder.
I managed to see one DVD before it froze. In contrast to the first one I tried, which took me to a menu page, this one took me right to the home I assume this is a bad sign. So let's now try an Apple product on my late-model Mac Book Pro that I have not yet spilled coffee on or used to throw Frisbees. It's worse now. As far as action goes, there has been none. It's more than one DVR since there are two! It gives me great pleasure to announce that I am finished. I just want to get rid of the You have landed! Or, you have arrived in DVR hell. And please do not bombard me with a hundred telephone calls just so that I can get a refund. You may please. It would be greatly appreciated if you would assist me.

A necessary purchase must be made Have been enjoying it so far since I arrived today! The upgrade to my MacBook Air was much needed, as I've had it for at least 2 years
I was not expecting this item to arrive until Monday, but it arrived today, a Saturday. I did not expect to have to pay for this because I feel it should already be included, but that's another story. Those words mean a lot to me. I have found the product itself to be quite awesome. After I bought it originally for use with installing printers and such, I have tried out the burning capabilities of it and I am really impressed with Another thing I would have liked is if the cord were a little longer since I don't have a desk, but I will be able to work around it in any case.
