It doesn't tarnish, so don't worry about that. I've had it wet almost every day since I've had it, and it still looks great. I still wear it as my wedding ring, and it's still in excellent condition.
It's made of tungsten, I believe. Although it is stamped titanium, it is almost certainly tungsten. Also, the high polish on this ring does not appear to be high polished sterling silver; it has a hue to it.
No, the ring isn't packaged in a box. It is packaged in a velvet pouch and sent in a padded envelope.
If this is a surprise gift, measure the ring's diameter and look up a size chart on Google Images.

Overall, the ring exceeded my expectations. It is reasonably priced. That is a significant accomplishment. It is significantly less costly than gold. I purchased it to replace a lost wedding band because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new gold ring. br>The color is a shade darker in person than it appears in the photo. Not by a long shot. Nobody would guess it wasn't white gold at first glance. br>Titanium is extremely light (it could be as light as a penny) and extremely tough when compared to other metals of similar weight. It still scratches in the same way that other rings do. This bothers me because it indicates that the ring has been worn. Keep this in mind, though, if you're a fan of mirror polish. Lastly, and I couldn't take a star off because it was my choice, the ring is VERY wide. To put it in perspective, I wear an XXL glove by finger length, and this thing feels strangely wide. Unless you really want a wide ring, I'd recommend a 6mm instead. My old one was 6mm, and this one is 8mm. I wish I had gone with 6mm instead of 5mm. It's not overly heavy, but it does wear differently than expected. br>The interior comfort fit is a must, and it's a good all-around option. day wear.
I bought a sterling silver replacement that scratched quickly, which I expected, but it ended up looking really dull when worn with my anniversary band. This ring has a special place in my heart. The titanium is a "warm" and deep silver color, if that makes any sense. It is extremely scratch resistant and shiny, and it looks fantastic with my anniversary band! It's something I'd purchase again and again! It would, I believe, be an excellent choice for a man who also works with his hands. I'm a nurse, and it's been a nightmare.

It has been washed several times, worn under gloves, cleaned with chemicals, and sanitized with alcohol. It hasn't changed color or changed the color of my finger at all. It has a lot of gleam. The color is a little darker in person than it appears in the photo. So far, it appears to be quite durable. This purchase has made me extremely happy, and it is a fantastic value.
My wedding ring was causing a rash on my finger, so I decided to buy this. I believe it was caused by bacteria and moisture accumulating beneath the ring, but despite cleaning it thoroughly, the rash persisted. I finally decided that I should just give my finger plenty of time to heal (because the rash kept reappearing because the skin hadn't fully healed before reapplying it). Because it's mage with surgical steal and has no indentation underneath where wetness can get trapped, I bought this to put on my finger instead while I was waiting for my finger to heal. I wore this ring for a year before switching back to my original, and my finger has been fine so far (knock on wood)! However, I'm keeping it so that I can still wear something if I need to remove my ring for an extended period of time.

When it arrived, it was a stunning ring with a lot of gleam. If you work in an office, you will probably have a better experience than I did.
