My first reaction after taking it out of the package was how beautiful the color was, the thick fabric was soft and nice. As soon as I tried it on, it fit nicely (a little long, but I have a very short torso, so I expected Honestly, if I clasp them and then slide them over my shoulder, they come apart. Once I had the bracelet on me, I tried having my husband clasp them, but as soon as I lifted my arms, the bracelet was dislodged. As you can see from the pictures, the clasps don't even look wide enough to fit.
The straps are adjustable, but they slide into loops on the back to hold them in place. I came across this problem because the straps slides out very easily, so I would clip one on and soon find that it would slip out again when I tried to attach the other one. As soon as I had it on, my husband was able to help me slide it through the loops. As yet, I haven't worn it to the pool or beach, but I am concerned it might slip out if I wear it.
You can also cross cross them, but I noticed when I put my arms in to put the suit on the hooks went unhooked. Once I had the straps in place, and the hooks in place, this thing wasn't going anywhere! It's a great deal!.
One thing that makes this suit less than ideal is the price. There is constant slipping of the straps. Different configurations can be made using the hooks that attach to the back of the suit. However, the hook on the strap slips off the loop on the suit all the time. As for the suit itself, it's of good quality, comfortable, and flattering, and it has a nice lining. In order to make the suit really good, I need to bend the hooks so that they are more hooked and prevent slipping out of the loop.
love the bathing suit so much! For me, the only problem was the size. I read that it ran small, so I bought the next size up and it was still too small. No matter how you look at it, it's pretty and doesn't retain much water, so drying off is a breeze.
Despite this, I did not feel that the fabric had enough coverage to cover my butt, so I returned.
This is definitely a recommendation. An adjustable strap policy, removable breast pads, and adjustable straps make this garment very flattering. There is plenty of room for the baby to grow.
