In most cases, I wear a size 12 because I am 5' tall, 150 pounds, and weigh 150 pounds In pants, the petite size is 14. Despite knowing my size is in between a petite medium and a petite large, I ordered them in both options. fit myself into the mediums, but they felt tight around the waist and hips. The fabric was stiff and did not have any give. However, the large was too baggy in the thigh area, and I felt uncomfortable wearing them. They fit better around my waist and hips, but I felt uncomfortable wearing them for any length of time. Though I have decided to keep them, I would have preferred a better match.
