I would recommend the customized version. I really like the locket. It's very well done. Because the locket is only about the size of a dime, photos in it must be very small, but it is still quite lovely. If you want to include photos, I recommend getting it personalized and then uploading your photos to the order. After my mother died unexpectedly on July 4, 2020, I purchased it as a memorial piece. I had it customized with a photo of my mother as a child and a photo of the two of us. With this beauty, you can't go wrong.

When I ordered this locket, I had no idea what I'd be getting. Sure, the pictures and description say one thing, but the actual product isn't always what one expects; however, with this locket, those concerns were unfounded. It has a nice weight to it, in addition to looking good. about 7g. Locket was also quite sturdy, almost to the point of being excessively so. It was difficult for me to open it with my "manly" hands, though my wife seemed to have no trouble doing so. The thin necklace that came with it is the only thing that I believe could be an issue. br>br> My wife thinks it'll be fine, but I'm worried that one of the kids will break the links while playing with it. It's not the first time they've attempted it. However, just in case, I have a few backups on hand. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase, as is my wife, who received it as a gift. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this locket to anyone looking for a similar item.

For Mother's Day, I gave this to my daughter. As much as I wanted to love it because it is unique and was special with her family photos, it was smaller than I expected, and the images were a little darker than I expected. The locket is lovely, but the chain is a little flimsier than I had hoped. I desired something with a heavier, more powerful feel. They offered to replace it, but since it took so long to arrive, I decided to keep it. I bought another locket for my mother from the same vendor, and it was lovely, with a thicker chain. I was very happy with that one, but I'm not sure what's wrong with this one.

Pictures will not fit in this locket. Apart from poster putty or glue, there is no way to secure a picture inside it. That is, assuming you had a small enough photograph to fit inside. It's a tad bit cramped. As stated in the title, 9 inches is simply not correct. It's about the size of my index fingernail, as you can see. The only saving grace is that it can be returned. Very let down.

This locket is a personal favorite of mine. It's made of real silver and is about the size of a quarter. I selected the following options. a locket made of silver and a sunflower. there are two photos as well as a carving br>br>It's a nice piece, a little heavy but appropriate for the chain. The images are evenly spaced and protected by a glossy resin finish. The engraving is simple but appropriate for the locket's back. This was a great way for us to commemorate the adoption of our son. It was a wonderful day, and my boys had given me a very special gift. br>br>This is the second locket we've bought from this company, and they're both lovely. We did mother's day for his bio mother's locket, but it can be used for any occasion.

It's a little difficult to get the photo in, but since you won't have to do much unless you keep changing photos out, it shouldn't be a major issue. I also laminated the photo to protect it from water damage if it was wet by accident.
