As nice as they looked in the preview image, when I tried to place them into my website they were painful to insert. Although I added copious amounts of lubricant to the bottle (not to mention the visible smudges on the clear bottle), the surface still dragged against my ears, and the cork scratched my skin if I tried to insert from the front end. The cork first tore to shreds before it was slipped irrevocably into the bottle when I attempted to remove it before I inserted the plugs short nails and very thin fingers, yet the cork felt like tissue paper on my fingertips.
