Amazon is where I bought mine. Suede is used for the sole of these shoes. The other side of the box was also ordered to be half the size that it was.
There are no taps on these shoes
There is a 2 inch difference. I don't think so, 1 1/2 is not enough
Although women often wear flats for Lindy hop and swing, they can be used for swing as well.

My shoes came used, even though I ordered new ones.

A HALF SIZE TOO SMALL These are the classic Capezio quality dance shoes, with nice leather that stretches and flexes easily, and a thin leather “dance” sole (not a thick leather street shoe sole because these are dance shoes, first and foremost). It's likely you'll prefer a tighter fit at first, which stretches over time if you're a dancer. If you don't normally wear shoes that big or are using them for a costume, etc. , you might want to order 1/2 size larger than what you normally wear. There is no exception to the rule that dance shoes run small, If this was a broad toe (obviously, not the rounded toe style) I would have wanted to break in the shoe first, but no amount of stretching or breaking in can change this! You're not wearing pointe shoes here! For the types of dance you would use these for, you don't want your toes in unnecessary pain. It will not harm you in the least to use them as costumes or props! It is true that the color is. Black becomes classic when paired with caramel, as it is a few shades lighter than "nude" color stockings or what most people would think of as skin tone (unless you haven't seen the sun or are exceptionally fair, in which case you may blend with them. There's no doubt that caramel will still leave you looking like a nude if that's a concern, although some of the more expensive brands (Bloch, et al).

My daughter purchased this shoe for her senior year of high school. Despite her foot being on the wide side, I felt that giving it a try would be worth it after reading the other reviews. We thought it was a very nice shoe and enjoyed the style, but we found it to be very narrow. We could have ordered a half-size bigger, but the shirt would still have been too small even if we ordered a second one. For people with narrow to average feet, this is a great shoe. I thank you for your help.

These are my new favorite lindyhop shoes. I have worn them a few times since I bought them two weeks ago, and I am in love. Despite the fact that they almost formed a blister after being worn for 4 hours, these dance heels were comfortable. This is my first pair of heels and they are perfect. There was no need to break them in at all They were ready to go out of the box for my gig right away. Wearing a size 9 is normal for me. The measurement on the receipt was a 5, but I read the other reviews on here and went up a half size to a 10. I look oh so classy if I wear them they look so dainty and shiny. Take a picture. THESE ARE A GREAT DEAL.

A set of these was worn once a week for one hour - A long dance class and four performances in a musical in the middle of summer This is a brand new item from October (so it's barely worn). Several layers of flaking and peeling are visible on the exterior of the right shoe. It appears that the shoe is defective as this is only occurring on one shoe, but they have been worn to the same extent. It appears there have been numerous reviews since we bought the shoes, citing the same trouble, so perhaps we got a "bad lot. ". The Capezio shoes we have used in the past have never given us any trouble. It is a very disappointing product for me.

The heels of two pairs of shoes fell off. The shoes I purchased were for use on stage as I am an actor. In a matter of a few weeks, the heel of one of them broke off. It was two years later that I needed another pair of this style, and since the price was good, I thought I'd give it another shot, hoping that the poor quality of the first pair was just SOME LUCK, BUT NOT SUCH. The second pair of my easy wear boots also lost an entire heel after eight hours. These shoes were no good for dancing or running, so I walked around in them and both of them had a cracked heel.

I am in love with them. This is the cutest pair I've ever seen! My mother bought them when I was starting to learn Balboa and needed something with a heel to wear. The dance exchange where I wore them for a few hours that I was dancing filled them up with enough energy to last until morning. Every night, you should sleep for 5 hours. There is a slight soreness, but that is to be expected with the prolonged use. Due to how often I have been using them, the soles of these shoes have held up exceptionally well. This is a product I strongly.

In terms of the brand (and sizing), these shoes are standard Capezio. So rather than talk about the brand, I will speak about If you're wider than that, you should get the wide version. For me, the medium width is just right (like an XX width in Grishko or a Bloch X2, to use a pointe shoe analogy). These are the only difference in fit between these and the Junior Spotlight model I danced in as a kid, namely that the arch is raised on these. While not necessarily uncomfortable, it's also not adding anything to my dancing. The heel is on the high side and will need an arch insert for multiple hours of rehearsal. The heel is an adequate height while still still looking "grown up" compared to the junior, so I went for these instead of just replacing my last pair. There's a T in the air I think it is of no consequence since the toe box is very soft since the strap makes the vamp higher than in other models. As well as being quite flexible, the sole is also quite hard. This model has so far been enjoyable to me, and I hope to get a lot of use.
