These berets aren't the same as the classic wool berets. I'm so glad I bought them because they're knit and stretchy, just like the other reviewers said. They're a little more substantial and thicker. After watching Outlander during quarantine, I really wanted a Scottish beret because I like how they're pulled to the extreme side. I'm sure there's an official hat with a different name for that purpose, but this was the closest I could find.
