I am not sure if it comes from the coloring (dye) used. I am at a loss for words. He probably just needs to spray some Febreeze on him. As a gift, I wouldn't give it as its smell (it's not paint scented- Wet dog is more like it). Make the most of it by spraying perfume on it! Keep it all for yourself!.
