After reading many of the reviews, I decided to order these shorts in a size larger. The fit was good, but the shorts' cut caused the fabric to pull in an unusual way around the crotch. The shorts were comfortable, and they looked great from the back and sides, but the front looked strange. I decided to return them because they looked even worse when I sat them down. The fabric is nice and heavy, and the color is a nice khaki tan, but it doesn't flatter my curvy figure.
As suggested by the reviewers, I went up a size. I'm 5' 6" and weigh 125 pounds, so I usually wear a size 5. They fit fine everywhere except the waistband, which, for reasons I don't understand, sticks out several inches around my waist! A belt didn't help much. It's a good thing I can sew because taking it in will be my only option before I wear them in two days. The fabric is extremely stiff, and the crotch area is extremely tight. A size 4 would be far too tight in the legs to move around in.

They were still a little too close together. The numerous pockets are ideal for storing receipts, change, and trash that your children throw away, but they are not suitable for storing your phone. The front pockets are too shallow, the side cargos aren't deep or wide enough, and the back pockets are too tight across the back to attempt because I was thinking to myself, "This is it. " This will be the event that causes my phone's screen to shatter. "br>I'm dissatisfied in general. I will give them credit for the color, which was spot on. Will come back. br>.

These shorts fit me exactly as I had hoped. They didn't run small on me like they did on others. However, because I am a size smaller in the waist than the hips, I will need to adjust the waist a little. Still, these shorts are extremely comfortable, and I plan to purchase more. br>br>Additional information (15 November 2015) - I bought two more pairs of these shorts after writing this review. Both pairs of shoes were at least one size too small. The first three pairs I bought were nothing like this. As a result, it appears to be a risk - Some will fit as expected, while others will be significantly smaller. A better quality control system is required.
I'm wearing a size 16 in those and they're fantastic. I ordered the cargo shorts in the hopes of getting a similar product to the capris and pants, but the size was disappointing; I ordered an 18 in the shorts because I prefer my shorts to be a little loose. They were so tight that I could barely button and zip them! I'm trying on a size 20 (which is significantly larger than my usual size) in the hopes that they will fit. However, I am wary because the shorts I received look like the same high-quality Dickies pants and are cute. Please, Dickies, correct the sizing on these!.

I'm 5'5" and 110 pounds, and the size 6 was too big around the waist, so I exchanged it for a size 4. The size 4 had the same circumference as the size 3, but was cut one to two inches shorter. It's not about the size; it's about the cut. It's a shame, because after trying on the first pair, I had high expectations. The material was soft but sturdy, and the first pair's cut was functional (in the right size, they wouldn't have shown too much or fallen off). It was a quick exchange, but I'm afraid I'll have to return them.
This isn't always true. These appeared to be perfect for work (which is why I purchased them). They appear to have a lot of pockets and are made of a tough but breathable fabric. Before I bought them, I read a lot of reviews and a lot of women said that they run small and that I should size up. I also used the size chart and measured myself to ensure that I would receive the correct size; I just received them in the mail today and knew right away that they were WAY too big when I took them out of the packaging. I believe the size chart is inaccurate, but there were several reviews from women who said their sizes were similar to mine, so I ordered what they recommended. I'm 5'5" and weigh 145 pounds, so the size 10 was easily two sizes too big. If they don't fit, I'll send them back and order a smaller size. I'll write another review after seeing how they perform in real life.
