In testing more than one rain defender product, I have found that it is actually quite durable and can withstand washing and drying, however air drying has served me best
Sherpa lining around the body of the sweatshirt makes it extra warm during the cold winters in North Dakota. It's a big hit with my husband!
Living in the interior of Alaska, we are surrounded by mountains and lakes. I have one as well as my husband. Last year, at the start of winter, I bought them and lived in them through the winter because they were so nice. Temperatures fell to -45°C during the cold snap. A few times in his 20's, wearing a t-shirt He was comfortable in his house because he had a shirt on underneath. What that would be like is humid 20's We can help you guys out if the weather's bad in the lower 48. It's okay for him to go with a hoodie and his storm jacket that he bought years ago from another major retailer. It's almost as if I don't layer unless it gets incredibly cold, during which time I DO layer a lot. You made a really good investment in that sweatshirt. The humidity and chill in the air made it difficult to wear yesterday it worked! He is gone!
There is an army or olive green hue to it. It is a brownish-green color

The surface was cold, thin, and slick The sleeves are lined with an insulating material. The reviews stating the arms are warm made me trust them despite reading that it does not have the same insulation as the other model. The people in those pictures look like Carhartt employees. When I wore this thing in 40 f weather at first, my arms felt cold, stayed cold, while also feeling After half an hour, I took it off This is garbage. Keeps you warm only to a certain point but fails to do anything beyond that. Having one job was a lot of work!.
The hoodie is very thick and warm. The material feels heavy, warm, and nice to the touch. The pouch is also equipped with a cool, hidden pocket. Besides being 5' 8" and 180 pounds with broad shoulders, I am 5' 8" and i ordered a size The torso is just a tiny bit longer than I was expecting, but I prefer being loose than being constricting. This is an exceptional hoodie that I would highly recommend. It reminds me of those awesome comics I used to read The heavyweight champion hoodies range in age from around 20 to 25 If anyone is old like me and can remember those days, then it was circa 25 years ago. I love it!.
It was the smallest size that I ordered but was too big. It was not a female review when I purchased the product. I am a petite woman of 5'3" and the product was not reviewed by females. My purpose in purchasing this product was to obtain a warm windresistant hoodie that would hold up well with time and last for a long time. The shirt only had to be cleaned at least ten times in the past few months and is still in great shape. When I ordered the smallest size, it was too big, but it shrank after my first couple of washes and now I'm more comfortable with it. Keep this in mind when picking a size because it will shrink after a few washes.
I love this hoodie so much. This jacket keeps me dry on my motorcycle in the rain, and the material feels like the kind of material I would expect. It is very comfortable, but as some have noted, it runs a little large. If the knit shrinks after washing it will be ideal. The majority of my weight is on my chest (wear a 50-54 The size is 52 suit jacket) and it is very Despite its age, it seems to be in great shape and people have been commenting I like that the sleeves are long enough to cover my wrists while riding. Besides the length, the width is also perfect. As is, it's a nice tight (in a good way) fit around the waist and wrists, but if the waist cuff gets a little floppy, it will be too big. I would choose a size up if I were any smaller than me. A 2-year-old may have been the culprit The 2XL would still fit a person who is three inches taller or 25 pounds heavier. A photo of Gruntstyle 2XL (that has been washed) and the carhartt underneath (that hasn't been washed but has been worn in the rain multiple times).
There's a problem with the zipper, it's tearing the inside the jacket, I submitted it for The jacket looks great other than that. In the event that the new one is good, I will change this to a 5 star. received the replacement today, and the zipper catching is just as bad as the original. Because returns must be unworn and with tags, I will have to keep the original and send the new one It is very disappointing to see Carhartt fail on this front. Before starting to wear it every day, make sure that the zipper is not catching!.
A great value for the money. Thank you for your positive feedback. Unlike many other hoodies on the market, this one is thick and warm. It is nice to have a Rain Defender so the hoodie does not get wet. It protects me better from the elements than the cheaper hoodies I've worn in the past. There is a smaller pocket on the right side of the large pocket in the front known as a 'kangaroo' which is convenient for keys in my case (or In addition to loose utility blades, Allen wrenches, and all sorts of small hand tools for my job, the pockets are durable enough for me to carry. Feedback that is neutral It does run a bit large in terms of size. The Carhartt medium fits more like a large than a medium, which is fine by me since it's snug. Due to other reviews, I knew this so buying the medium was an educated decision for me. The following negative feedback has been received Please note While the zipper does not have a smooth sliding action, it appears to be durable and shouldn't be a big problem long-term. I have found the following to be my experience I need a hooded sweatshirt that is thicker and more durable so that I can get through the winter at work. This temperature is 300 degrees Fahrenheit). keeps all of my smaller items such as tools, screws, and anything else I need safe from falling out of my pocket. Additionally, I can wear it in the cold weather. It is one of the warmest hoodies I have. I will definitely consider Carhartt's jacket/hoodies for my next purchase, and you should as well if you are searching for a practical and warm jacket.
Five feet ten inches tall with long arms and a torso, I'm a female. cannot seem to find hoodies that fit right, especially once they have been washed and dried (I stick out my arms and the sleeves are about three inches above my wrists). I hate it when people act like that! It took me a fair amount of time looking all over town for someone who sold Carhartt hoodies in Large Tall size, and as you can imagine, there were none. My experience has been that once the clothes were washed and dried, there was little to no shrinkage, and the quality is excellent. I would say that this hoodie is best worn in the fall or winter, because it is very heavy. My preferred size is going to be the tall size So far, Carhartt has been on top of this because they clearly know what they're.
In terms of warmth, it ranks below Sherpa lined jackets.
