Questions & Answers

How do they stack up against Thorogoods or Red Wings in terms of construction quality? Are there any more fashionable Pro timberlands to be found?

I can tell you from personal experience that these boots last longer than the $275 Red Wing boots that I previously purchased. br> The Red Wings are well-made and comfortable, but the leather is soft and rips easily, and the soles quickly wear out. You can have them resoled, but the leather has never lasted long enough for me to justify it. On average, a pair would last me nine months. br> When I was short on cash one year, I tried on these Timberland PRO boots. I wasn't wearing them five or six days a week for ten hours a day because it was a slow period in construction, but they lasted me three years. I purchased a second pair and wore them every day for the next 18 months. They appeared to be worn, but they were still comfortable and had some tread left on them. I'd say these boots could easily last a year if worn for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. Every week, six days. If you want to get the most out of these boots, invest in toe guards, especially if you kneel frequently or rest things on the toe for leverage.

Do these shoes have a larger fit than sneakers?

For whatever reason, people frequently order boots that are too big. I am a size ten. Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timberlands Timber I've had about a dozen pairs of Timberlands in various styles and they all fit me the same way every time. My shoe size is 5 wide, and they fit perfectly every time.

What are the size differences between these and their safety toe boots? Is it possible that I'd be the same size in soft?

Yes, both the soft and safety toes must be the same size. Thank you very much,

Okay, these boots are listed as a recommended boot on the woman's website. What size corresponds to that of a woman?

I'd say the difference is about 1 1/2 sizes. If a woman usually wears a size 8, you should probably order a size 6. These boots for men have a rating of 5.

Timberland's quality has declined, which is unfortunate
3/5

Horrible. Terrible. For the past 30 years, I have only worn Timberland boots, and these are by far the most uncomfortable boots I have ever owned. They irritate the outside of my ankle by rubbing it in such a way that it hurts. I have to tie them so loosely to make these dangling things bearable that I end up with no support. br>br>I work 10 hours a day, five days a week. Wearing these absurd boots for that long has put my pain tolerance and sanity to the test. I've only had them for a few months and I'm already planning on getting rid of them and replacing them with something else. What a colossal squandering of resources. Timberland, your quality has deteriorated dramatically over the last ten years, and I am dissatisfied.

Buy the better insoles if you want them to be comfortable and waterproof
5/5

I'm an electrician who puts a lot of wear and tear on my footwear. I added the Timberland pro insoles before wearing them because they were very comfortable. They were stiff for a few days, but they never hurt my feet. I've been wearing them for 12 hours a day for the past month and I'm very happy with them. I also waterproofed them right away, despite the fact that they were already waterproof. I've buried them in mud and submerged them in water up to their toes a few times and they've never gotten wet. The only drawback so far is that the shoelaces are difficult to pull tight on the bottom half, causing them to loosen on the quick laces (which are incredibly durable!). ) and the shoelaces have started to fray. UPDATE: I contacted Timberland, and they are sending me a new pair of laces at no cost.

This product is no longer manufactured in the United States
3/5

First and foremost, this is the second pair of 6" pit bosses I've purchased. The first pair had to be returned, and a size 9 was ordered in their place. Despite the fact that I used to wear a size 9, I now wear a size 10. For the last 12-months, Timberland Pro has been ranked No. 5 in the world. If not longer, then at least 15 years. But it's not a big deal because returning the item is simple. Now it's time to get to the meat of the matter. Or, at the very least, what I consider to be a significant event. Timberland is no longer manufactured in the United States, which is a shame. For the past 12 months, I've only worn the Timberland Pro Series 6" Helix. If not longer, then at least 15 years. Quality, fit, and comfort, to name a few factors. surpassed all others. And I've worn Red Wing, Wolverine, Justin, and a variety of other brands. For the past 30 years, I've worked in the asphalt industry. After much consideration, I decided to try the Pit Boss 6" Pro Series boot this time because my previous pair of Timberland Helix 6" Pro Series boots were coming apart where the sole was glued to the boot itself. (However, this is after a 4-hour period. ) They've been on my body for 5 years now. ) I noticed that, unlike the Helix, the sole of the Pit Boss is actually sewn rather than glued. Both pairs of Pit Boss boots I ordered appear to have slipped through the cracks in the quality control department. Or maybe there isn't one in the Dominican Republic. Who knows what will happen.

It was once wonderful
3/5

My job necessitates that I purchase work boots once a year. Last year (in October 2015), I purchased these exact boots and they were a perfect fit. They wore so well last year that I purchased them again this year. I even went back and looked up a previous order and used the same link to make ordering easy again. br>br>Unfortunately, I'm having to return this year's boots because the left shoe's toe area is much narrower than the right, rubbing my toes. br>br>In the group photo, the shoes from the previous year are on the right. On the left, you'll find the new ones. A close-up of this year's shoe can be seen in the second image. The narrow shoe is the one on the left (on the right in the photo). It's more difficult to see in the photo, but it's noticeably narrower. I double-checked the inner tags, and they're all 12M. br>br>I'm not sure if I'll order a new pair or visit a brick and mortar store. To find boots, go to a brick and mortar store. Maybe it's just a one-time flaw that got past quality assurance?.

However, they are not only comfortable but also light on the feet
3/5

The boots were purchased for work purposes. As a service technician at an auto dealership, I work with fluids frequently. The floor is always splattered with oil or water. I've never slipped in these boots because they've held up well. When I was wearing them and stepping on wet surfaces, I fell or lost my balance. It's a little tight, but it's not too bad for my feet. They're not only light, but they're also extremely well-made. I believe the material will last a long time and be useful in a variety of applications. I was unable to locate the soft-serve ice cream maker. I couldn't find the soft-toe version of the boot anywhere but Amazon, and I really wanted it. Not the steel-toed ones. toe ones. br>br>The following are the reasons why I can't give it 5 stars and what I don't like about it: 1) The boot is easily scuffed, leaving a streaky mark on the shoe. br>br>2) The boot shapes do not match perfectly. To put it another way, the left boot's outer sole curves more than the right boot's. When you put them on and look down at the boots, you'll notice that the left side boot has a more curvy contour on the outer sole by your toe thumb, whereas the right side boot has a straighter curve on the outer sole by your toe thumb. 3) There is some hard metal-like material inside my left boot near the ankle area. There's a piece of material pressing against my ankle bone, and I can feel it. I can't get it out because it's stuck inside the cushion and the stitching. I'll have to cut it open to get it out. There's no hard metal object near the ankle area on the right side. What is it, exactly? An eyelet that got stitched into the boot by accident during the manufacturing process? I don't mind because I'm wearing socks, so I'm not bothered. br>br>4) My right-side boot appears to have been worn a few times. I noticed scuff marks around the shoe right out of the box, but they were minor and unnoticeable. br>br>Overall, the boots are great and comfortable, and the color is exactly what I was looking for. br>Would I recommend these boots to a friend? I like them, but if the mismatched shape of the shoes bothers you, I'd suggest looking for another pair of boots.
