Questions & Answers

Hello, how does it compare to a bonehead in terms of size? I looked through my previous purchases and discovered that the bonehead XL was a good fit for me. ?

The Blood and Guts sizing is more in line with the classic Bonehead style than any of the newer ones. Many of them are absurdly small. You'll be fine if you order an XL in Bonehead and an XL in Blood and Guts.

Is this a Chinese product?

Please toss out everything made in China that surrounds you.

Is it true that only the XXL sizes are available? In terms of size, what does the X mean?

The xl is extremely large. It has a waistband that is longer and shoulders that are wider.

I'm not sending any money to China any longer. Is this a Chinese product?

It's a game of chance. I have some that were made in China and others that were made in Vietnam. You could, I suppose, inquire with the seller.

Columbia PFG Styles - A Comparison a drop of blood The COLUMBIA PFG is a professional football team based in Columbia, South Carolina
5/5

FITbr>Columbia makes some great shirts, but make sure you get the right size. I'm 5'10" and 195 pounds, and I usually wear a Large in most similar-styled (button-down) shirts. I need to get a Medium in Columbia PFG shirts, though. In comparison to other PFG series shirts (e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g Bonehead, Tamiami II, Bahama II, Tamiami II, Tamiami II, Tamiami II, Tamiami II, Tamiami II, Guts is a slimmer cut version of the Guts series. I still need a Medium rather than a Large, but it fits a little tighter than the medium in the other three PFG styles I own - So, if you're on the verge of switching sizes in other PFG styles, you should go up. Tip number two: Because these shirts come in a variety of sizes, many of them end up in the Amazon Warehouse, so keep an eye out for Amazon Warehouse deals (see the bottom of this review for tips on how to compare prices across sizes and colors). br>I've experimented with the Tamiami II, Bahama II, Bonehead, and Blood. I've had the Columbia PFG Guts III shirts for a while now, and I've been happy with them all. Another tip with Columbia shirts is that any of the styles with an SPF rating are the best for hot weather. Although the open style weave is extremely breathable, which contributes to the cooling effect, some UV penetration is possible, which is why the SPF rating is provided. Both the Blood and the This fabric is found in the Guts and Tamiami II, which are by far my favorite styles for summertime outdoor wear. For those trying to decide which PFG shirt to get, I've listed the differences between four different PFG styles below. br>br>The main distinction between these styles is the type. As indicated in the headings, the material's characteristics. br>br>BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BREATHABLE POLYESTER GUTS III - FAVORITE FOR HOT WEATHER FISHINGbr>While the name isn't particularly appealing, Blood is a popular choice for hot weather fishing. Guts III (BG3) shirts are fantastic, and my favorite PFG style is the Tamiami II (T2). Both the BG3 and BG4 T2 are the best for keeping you cool in the summer heat because they have an SPF rating, are breathable/open weave, and have an SPF rating. The BG3 has been treated to resist stains, making it ideal for fishing, work, and other outdoor activities. Finally, unlike the Bahama nylon and Bonehead cotton shirts, the BG3 does not wrinkle nearly as badly. Overall, this, along with the Tamiami, is my favorite. In terms of practicality, I prefer the Blood. Because of the stain resistance, guts are ideal for fishing. The styling (texture) is also something I like. For work, I prefer the BG3's pockets, whereas for boating or beach wear, I prefer the Tamiami's slightly more casual appearance. The BG3 also has a silky feel to it, making it a very comfortable shirt. TAMIAMI II STYLE (BREATHABLE POLYESTER) - TAMIAMI II STYLE - TAMIAMI II STYLE - TAMIAMI II STYLE - TAMIAMI II STYLE SUMMERTIME CASUAL FAVORITEbr>Of the four styles mentioned, the T2 and the BG3 are made of the thinnest/lightest (most breathable) material. The T2 has a slightly shinier finish than the others, as well as a more laid-back appearance. The T2 is a type of T2. Because the fabric is less rigid than the nylon Bahama II or cotton Bonehead, the BG3 is also the most wrinkle resistant. On the top of the T2, there is a snap button pocket, and on both sides, there are Velcro pockets. Prior to the arrival of the BG3, this was my go-to summertime outdoor outfit. The long sleeve is ideal for wearing in the off-season. To keep your skin from getting too salty, go shore fishing. While keeping you cool, the sun shines brightly. br>br>BAHAMA II STYLE (NYLON) - BAHAMA II STYLE (NYLON) - BAHAMA II STYLE (NYLON) - BAHAMA II WORKWEAR IN MILD WEATHERbr>The Bahama II (Ba) is made of nylon with a polyester lining. The Ba's appearance (i. e. The Bonehead style (pockets, cut, and so on) is identical. The Bahama has a more traditional (cotton-like) feel thanks to the nylon's slightly more rigid feel. T2 has a better-looking appearance than the T1. In some ways, the Ba nylon version is superior to the BH cotton version in terms of moisture management – i. e. It allows sweat to evaporate faster. The nylon, on the other hand, does not absorb moisture as well as cotton, so while it dries faster, it has a "slimy" feel to it when wet that is uncomfortable. Synthetics with a loose weave (i. e. T2 & When soaked in perspiration, BG3) do not have this unpleasant sensation. The Ba also wrinkles more than any other PFG series shirt, so it's not my favorite. Nonetheless, it's a good-quality shirt that works well in warm weather (i. e. , in the summer). when the sweat won't make it slimy). br>br>COTTON BONEHEAD STYLE - COLDER WEATHER FAVORITEbr>The Bonehead (BH) and the aforementioned Bahama II (Ba) styles are nearly identical in appearance. Essentially, I prefer the BH over the Ba because the BH cotton does not get the slimy Nylon feel when you sweat, and the cotton is slightly better in terms of wrinkles. The BH is probably my favorite series when moisture management and cooling effect aren't important, so I like these in long sleeve for fall and winter wear. The traditional appearance of the BH for work wear appeals to me. For hunting season, the Bonehead long sleeve is a great layering option, and Sage is a great natural neutral (earth tone) color for this. br>br>PRICE COMPARISON ON AMAZON WAREHOUSE DEALSbr>I was irritated by the way Amazon lists apparel items with multiple colors, because it can take a long time to search through all of the color (and size) options to find the best deals. The color prices are automatically displayed in a list format on my iPad version, but I'd have to select each color/size to see the price options on my PC desktop. Finally, I figured out how to do it in a more efficient manner. Follow these steps to get started:
> Choose from a variety of shirt colors and sizes. br> Check the right hand side of the screen to see if this garment has multiple offers. If that's the case, click the "new and used from" (or "new" if there aren't any used offerings) icon to open a list view screen. (If you don't see the "new and used from" hyper-link, there must be multiple offerings for the exact size and color you selected. ) select a different size/color combination until the link appears, then repeat the process until the link appears. )
> Select your size and then click the "lowest offer for each" icon next to the color selector in the list view screen. This view will show the cheapest offering for each color shirt in that size, allowing you to quickly see which colors are the most affordable, as well as any Amazon Warehouse Deals that are available. As stated in the first paragraph, these shirts are frequently returned due to sizing issues, and many of the Warehouse deals are shirts that have been tried on and then returned for a smaller size.

This is the last tropical shirt you'll ever require
5/5

Columbia Blood was a new discovery for me. We had guts ten years ago when we moved to the Texas Gulf Coast's heat and humidity. Despite their similarities- Several manufacturers produce "fishing" shirts, but these are the genuine article. I made a few brand choices until I realized that all of the fishing guides in our area wear Columbia, which is a little more expensive than the off-brand options. Because of the fabric, they are well worth the price difference. They're light and airy, and they're perfect for the summer. a combination of one of these shirts and a pair of 5. It's as if you're wearing pajamas when you put on the 11 Taclite Pro pants. They're also extremely durable and stain-resistant. tenacious; I still have a few of the first generation shirts, which I've worn hundreds of times. They've all held up exceptionally well, with the exception of the white ones, which have become a little dingy after a few years. I have several in various colors and probably wear them 355 days per year on average. Their only flaw is that when they're new, the packaging creases appear to be permanent. I recommend steaming a new shirt for a few minutes to remove wrinkles, then giving it a quick wash and a quick spin in the dryer before hanging it up; It won't wrinkle up. Free and attractive.

Columbia Quality Control let me down big time
3/5

I'm a big Columbia and PFG fan, and I already have about ten of these shirts, including the original Blood and Guts, but these three I got on Amazon were disappointing in many ways, especially when compared to the others I bought in stores. These three Blood and Guts III have a lot of different fabrics. The one with the most static is the most static-prone cloth I've ever owned, while the other two don't have any. Two of them have the feel of thin women's panties, while the other has a rougher weave, and they do not perform as well out of the dryer as my other PFGs have. Overall, I get the impression that these are Columbia PFG knockoffs. I'm skeptical of the UPF and stain resistance claims because the fabric of these PFG shirts varies so much. It's a shame Columbia doesn't have more stringent quality controls, especially for a shirt that costs more than $45 to begin with. The red color represented on the sample is actually a dark pink, which is a poor representation. The style and fit were both satisfactory.

Excellent light weight, roomy, and breathable
5/5

I went with my usual XL size, which is plenty roomy. All of my other XL shirts are about 2 inches shorter than this one. I could have gone down a size because it's wider and the sleeves hang longer on my elbows, but it's still very comfortable. The fabric moves more smoothly and quietly as a result of this. The nylon fabric does not make a grating swooshing noise. Though I was concerned 100% polyester turns out this OMNI- Any of my Outdoor short sleeve button downs are made of SHADE fabric, which is the most comfortable. On wrinkle-free, I had to give it four stars. Because it wrinkles when washed and the fabric says NO IRON, it's free. However, this is an outdoor sports shirt, not a dinner shirt, and it did not wrinkle with wear, so it is wrinkle-free in that regard. tenacious When you wash it, it wrinkles, so lay it flat to press out the wrinkles with your hands before drying. This shirt is still one of my favorites, and I strongly advise you to get it.

These shirts are a big hit with my husband
5/5

I bought two of these for my husband because he's always been a fan of Columbia's omni- wick shirts are a line of shirts that are designed to wick moisture away from the These were brand new, with no reviews to back them up, but the low entry price was appealing, so I took a chance. I hit it out of the park! Every time he wears one of these shirts, he tells me how much he likes it. They suit him well and could be mistaken for a preppy ensemble. With khaki shorts, Sperry shoes, or the handsome fisherman, you can dress up for any occasion! The shirts are incredibly light and airy. The material is soft and thin, as opposed to the thick and rough Columbia wick-like material of the past. Shirts that are a little dry, but still good. I'd like to buy more, but the price has doubled since I last bought. Is there a chance of a holiday sale coming up? Oh, and if you have a fisherman or an outdoor enthusiast in your life, this is a must-have. FABRIC SOFTENER WILL KILL YOUR WICK. fabric that has not been dampened FYI. In terms of sizing, I ordered a LG and it fit loosely with plenty of shoulder room, just the way he likes it. LG in Carhartt t-shirts is his go-to. Columbia omni-shirts, Columbia omni-shirts, Columbia omni-shirts, Columbia omni wicking dry shirts and XL in Grunt Style, as well as the majority of graphic tees shirts.
