They're not as thin as jeans, but they're a lot more substantial than suit pants. My husband, who despises skinny pants, finds these to be extremely comfortable to wear all day while still looking fashionable.

After years of wearing Dockers, I needed to find new work pants because the quality of Dockers had deteriorated. I replaced all of my old Dockers pants with these Haggar pants because they fit and look great. These, however, do not last as long as they should. Because I work in a school, these pants aren't subjected to a lot of abuse. I initially adored them, but after a few washes, they began to show signs of wear, particularly in the pocket where I keep my keys and wallet. These pants get a lot of use at work and get washed on a regular basis. I chose to ignore the pockets' signs of wear. br>After about four months, I took two of the pants out of the dryer and discovered that they both had rips in the crotch area that I had not noticed before. They weren't at the seam, but it was the same rip. I assumed it was due to getting caught on a zipper or something else in the washer. Despite my disappointment, I placed a second order. Then, while sitting at a table and lifting my leg up onto a chair at work, the pair I was wearing ripped. The rip was barely audible, and the pants were under no strain. The rip was identical to the rips on the other two pairs of pants I took out of the washer. br>I should have listened to the other Amazon reviews about Haggar's declining quality, as none of the pairs have lasted more than a school year, barely 4 months to be exact. br>These pants would probably be acceptable for casual wear, but not for work. Now I'm on the lookout for a good pair of work pants that are also fashionable.
I was looking for a business casual pant that was a small step up from my 100% cotton Izod Men's American Chinos that I have worn for years and these Haggar pants br>br>I usually wear a 40W 30L pant, and the Haggar pants fit me perfectly in those dimensions. The fabric is a mix of 61% Cotton, 37% Polyester, 2% Spandex and has a little stretch to it which is very comfortable without being too stretchy without being too stret When compared to 100% cotton chino or khaki pants, the fabric has a sheen and I think this gives these pants a slightly more dressy look without being a full dress pant. The fabric is medium weight, fully lined, and appears to be sturdy and well-made. made. I prefer the classic fit because I have larger thighs and appreciate the extra room. br>br>The pants wash well and, when removed from the dryer after drying, come out smooth and sleek, requiring no ironing, as the name implies. br>br>So far, these pants have exceeded my expectations, and the next step will be to see how well they hold up over time.
We've purchased about 8 pairs of these pants in the last year (5 on Amazon), but we won't be purchasing any more. I can't wash them more than once and be confident that they aren't going to tear. We've experimented with various washer settings but have never dried them. To be honest, the crotch fabric tears much earlier than it should. My husband claims that the pants are very comfortable and light, and that they don't need to be ironed, which is convenient; however, they have previously torn while he was at work. br>br>Nice fit, but not worth the average price of $35 per pair. We ordered the navy ones less than two months ago, and they've already ripped, and the khaki ones we ordered a month ago look like they'll rip any day now.
Wow, these are a waste of time! I've been wearing Haggar pants for years and have never had a problem until these recent ones; in fact, the only reason I needed to replace my old pair was because they were worn out. I purchased two sizes, one larger than I thought I needed and the other about the right size; both fit perfectly, but I chose to wear the larger pair first, which lasted about two weeks until someone noticed a rip in my pants at work. This wasn't a rip; the pant leg had nearly ripped in half and had to be thrown away. I figured it was just a one-time occurrence, so I put on the other pair. Then the other pair ripped today, almost in the same spot as the first pair, but not quite as badly. Keep in mind that these pants were ripped despite the fact that they were loose fitting. These Haggar pants appear to be inferior to those I've previously purchased, so either they're rip-offs or they're defective. Haggar's quality has sunk to an all-time low, either because of knock-offs or because they've completely abandoned their To summarize, I will be switching brands unless I notice a significant difference in quality on a pair in the store, and I strongly advise people to avoid Haggar pants.
My son works as a bagger at a local grocery store, so I ordered two pairs of these pants for him. After 3 to 4 weeks of daily use, the upper inner leg material continues to tear, so we replaced both pairs through Amazon. Now the first replacement pair has ripped as well, and I'm afraid there's no way to get your money back or have them replaced. In every other way, the pants were fantastic, but $42 is a lot of money for a pair of pants that will only last 3 to 4 weeks.
The only reason I gave one star is because I couldn't give zero. I've ordered these pants twice now, and both times I've had the same problem with a rip near the right rear packet - one that can most likely be fixed but still shows signs of a problem These pants are not something I can or will recommend.
The pants in gray and blue, size 36 x 30, are the subject of this review. br>br>For the past few years, this brand and style have been my go-to business casual pants. They are true to size, comfortable to wear, and, for the most part, long-lasting, though I have had a few sets fray at the bottom of the legs over time, but no more than other brands. br>br>I like the stretch waistband, which adds about 2 inches to the fit, making it even more comfortable and providing some extra room if needed. br>br>They wash well without fading and are wrinkle-free, so they don't need to be ironed. The only thing I don't like about them is that there isn't a second inner front pocket. br>br>While this isn't a major concern for me, it would be nice if they included a second pocket. These are a good deal for a quality pair of pants if found on sale for around $30 to $35 (sometimes less). br>br>4 out of 5 br>br>br>br>br>br.
