My opinion is based on my lack of testing. There was a couple of inches of water in the puddle I walked through It's no problem at all. Even in a hard rain, my feet stayed dry when I was biking. The water has not been deep and deep for me.
It was only last week that I got my boots. This past week has been pretty wet, so I have had the opportunity to really put them to the test. Walking my dogs a couple miles a day is an important part of my daily routine. We walked a lot through tall grass and fields of flowers. Usually, when it is raining, I am soaked from head to toe. Despite being waterproof for 3 days, the boots did not leak. They soaked through on the third day. As a result, I have dried them out well a couple of times since then. These things soak through the water as soon as they come in contact with it. It took less than ten miles for whatever waterproofed them to wear off.

This pair was purchased recently, and I have worn them daily for the past week, both in casual settings and in the woods both on flat terrain It is one of the reasons I took a shot at them because they have excellent grip in loose dirt and wet dirt. Since there were no reviews when I placed my order, I took a chance, as i said in many reviews before mine. In the long run, durability is what's most important, isn't it? I cannot say yet what the outcome will be for that. In my limited understanding of it's construction, it seems to have all the right details, however, appearances can be deceiving so only time will tell how excellent it will be? Depending on how durable the product is, maybe six months from now, I will update my review. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone at this point in time because they are made in China. The only durability issue I have seen or been having seemed to be small bits of the sowing fraying. To prevent this, take a bic lighter (that's just an example, any lighter will do) and melt the frayed edges before they untie and fall apart. There may be a future issue here, and I will watch for The quality of walking in them is very good I felt as though I was walking on clouds. This makes sense, as they come with an EVA insole that is not glued on. The insoles for the boots can be purchased from other manufacturers so long as the boot continues to perform. You even get back ups if you need them because the pair I got came with a packet with two extra laces. I haven't tested the waterproofing, but I would say it would be okay as the tongue is complete with no opening, but I think it wouldn't be comfortable to take a foot into water over an ankle deep in water? I'm sure you get the picture? Having the black/gray pair of boots is a little warm on the feet, but I expected that most black clothing would warm me up more than lighter boots are amazing thin. They are as thin as a pair of RND1 basketball sneakers I have. From the looks of them you wouldn't think they'd be so thin, but they are quite thin, more so than the ones I have. Both putting them on and taking them off was really easy for me I had a lot of fun with them. I've been trying to avoid poison oak because of ivy. It is advisable to replace these after you get them if you prefer a snug feel and tightness on your foot. After about 15 days part of the sole on inner side left rear heel started coming loose, but I used a bottle of guerilla glue and since then I haven't experienced any problems. With it, I filled that hole and it has been glued ever They are still worn every day and that has been the only serious problem I have encountered with them so far. You should follow this advice, lol, and buy some guerilla glue when you get these. Its the only serious problem with them since I've worn them every single day since I bought them. The shoe is made in China, and it shows, at least it did for me, so I am taking away a star. That doesn't seem fair to anyone to have to glue their shoe back together after 15 days of daily wear. My daily wear would allow me to go back to 3, but it would be unfair since I wear them every day. It makes sense for NORTIV 8 to collaborate with guerilla glue as both are effective.

The hiking boots I like are those made of leather. Wearing them almost exclusively is the norm for me. As a result, when I saw the price of these, I decided to order them and see if they would compare with my older ones that I recently found to have holes in the sides.
