It is a unique design, but it is not properly assembled

It held up well for a few months and I liked the uniqueness of the cuff links. It fell out of the actual place it was supposed to be seated within the cufflink today. In spite of the fact that I wear cuff links every day, I've never had this happen to me. What do I do now? I suppose I'll have to glue it back on. There is no way for me to know. Even if it did not fall apart, I would have rated it a 5.
