Wearing spread collar shirts without a tie is impossible for someone like me who is an extra weirdo. Having used these since the beginning (when they first came out), I can attest to their durability. It works well for them and they are brilliant. Magnets have never detached from my hands in my life. When I dropped off a shirt at the cleaners, I forgot to take the stays out. That was the only time I lost one magnet. Lost the other, but found the one I was looking for. As far as I am concerned, the bottom line is that I wanted two" versions and mine were two". The number five. It has been a couple of months since I began using these. 2 different lengths of the same item were ordered. A set of these has gone missing and I do not know where it is. The shirt I put in the washing machine probably had them in it when I forgot to take them out. These magnets hold when they are put in place, and the intention of the design is clear. I'm really happy with how my collars look. It came with magnets that I had lost, but they are no longer with me. I think that these are good ideas all around. Having lost the stays is my own fault. Losing the magnets seems like it will happen from time to time no.

In any case, I am unable to justify $20 with these collar stays as of this writing. It seems fine to me to work with this material But the magnets themselves constantly fall off or otherwise become dislodged, which makes these $20 collar stays such an overpriced product. My opinion of the show is not favorable.
