You should NOT buy elastic compression stockings if you need more than one of these. The pants can stretch to the point that having 3 button holes is not really needed, you'll have to use the tightest hole, and then the pants will be too big.

Because of this, I did not use mine for pants but I did use it for baby bibs. The sleeves worked great around the neck, simply put a button on one side and the stretch portion on the other, of course you have to take off the extender button, but overall I am very pleased with the results.

It does its job, the only downside is it might show if you use it on the last slot, but I didn't mind as I am wearing my untucked work shirt under it and I couldn't tell a difference between them.

It would appear that my torso is in the shape of an apple. The size of my hips is small, but the size of my waist is. It looks like he's a little fat. I was thrilled to receive these waistband extenders and I am sure you will enjoy them as well. There are white, royal blue, and black (two of each color) in this set of six. A total of 100% elastic has been used for these extenders. Three buttons and three inch-wide button holes are sewn on each extender that are 3 1/4" long by 15/16" wide. The extenders have one button (5/8") sewn on them and are 15/16" wide. It's probably going to be a matter of whether or not these are effective for you. As shown in the above photo, I had no problem using one of these extenders on a pair of pants. By hooking the button on the extender to the buttonhole on my pants, I was able to extend my To attach the buttonhole end of the extender to the button on my pants, I hooked it through the buttonhole. A little more was added to my height. The increase in room I was trying to achieve took longer than I expected when I tried hooking my pants button to a looser buttonhole on the extender. I tried to hook it, but it appeared that my pants' zipper kept opening up. A couple of other pants were available that didn't have a double row of buttons, so I tried those. This was done by both of them. In order to keep the zipper closed, I think the zipper should be positioned somewhat parallel to the buttons. If the zipper started to slide, you could also put a pin under it so that it wouldn't In my photo, you can see that I also tried double-extending the extension. It took me two buttonholes to thread my pant button. In that way, I did not need to show the length of the extender. I don't care how you dress. By using an extender, you will obviously see the waistband. If you use one, you will wear a top that covers the waistband. I am fine with that. It is a help to some extent, but not ideal, since I typically wear my tops on the outside of my waistband anyway, so it is not a big deal as I usually wear tops that way. It will not provide the solution that you are looking for if you wear your tops tucked in. My husband tells me that he would dearly recommend a waistband extender to anyone who needs an inch or more of extra space in the waistband. I find it to be very useful and am happy that I own one. My only wish would be for more neutral colors to be available.
