Each size corresponds to an age group. I would get size 2 if she is 2 years old. A size 4 is just right for my goddaughter, who is a little bigger than a normal 3 year old. It fit me just fine, even though I was a bit large.

In spite of steaming, the inside of the lining only melted one way

The lining of the inside only melted in one spot when it was steam steamed. It did not stick to my daughter when she wore it, but I am disappointed it did not last as long as I would have liked.
