Questions & Answers

My daughter usually wears a size 7 and tried on a size 4 - Anybody have any experience with Keds School Days II? It was a little small, so a 5 should fit. ?

My daughter does, in fact, wear a size seven. In the women's category, there are five options. The 4. 5 fits; Keep in mind that it's leather, which means it'll stretch out over time.

Is there a difference between black and white and color?

No, they're navy and white, and I've had mine for several years and they're still in excellent condition. They're fantastic, and I adore them.

Is there a size 11 available? Is this appropriate for a four-year-old child?

Yes, they've been made.

Would these be a good fit for a two-year-old girl in a size 6?

My nine-year-old wears a size three shoe. I would choose the "toddler 1-" option for a two-year-old. 4”.

This isn't a review of any seller or Amazon; instead, it's a review of the shoe. I, too, am not a reviewer, but I'm so fed up with this problem that I feel compelled to help someone else avoid a headache or a squandered dollar. For the past seven years, my daughter has had to wear this style of shoe to school. After purchasing several pairs over the years, I would estimate that nearly half of them have had to be replaced due to a mildewy odor. This odor hits you right away after you put it on, and it's completely unexpected. When a shoe is brand new and unworn, I've learned to recognize the faint odor. After a few weeks of wear (and my child has no problem with sweaty or stinky feet- The smell of "mildew" becomes overwhelming (which has never been an issue with any other shoe). Some items were purchased on Amazon, while others were purchased locally. There's no rhyme or reason to it. When they need to be replaced because the smell is so bad that the other kids in carpool complain, and I'm tired of spraying or stuffing them with dryer sheets, I buy a new pair, and it's a 50/50 chance they'll have the same problem. It could be a chemical used in a specific factory, but the odor is ridiculous and strong enough to make my child uncomfortable. So be cautious when purchasing. As strange as it may sound, when you buy these shoes- They have a distinct odor. Replace them if there is even a smidgeon of a smell that isn't the typical new shoe/leather odor. I have a garbage can full of shoes because I didn't do this thinking it would be a one-time occurrence, but it has been going on for quite some time. Although I have a very sensitive nose, many others who do not have a strong sense of smell have told me that they all smell the same. It's absurd how much money is wasted on shoes because they can't be returned once they've been worn, and that's when the odor becomes unbearable!.

Buyer beware of this shoe because it molds
3/5

My daughter had to wear these to school because they were required shoes. The shoes are functional and comfortable (though they are a little geeky to look at). For the past four months, she has been wearing them on and off. The entire, I mean ENTIRE insole is mouldy, literally rotting, and covered in black and pink mold, which I discovered tonight. I'm quite disgusted. They haven't been worn or stored in water, and my child doesn't play in mud or other filthy places. It has the appearance of a petri dish on the inside. I've never had this problem with any other pair of shoes (and I've lived in a lot of damp and moldy places, including San Francisco and New Zealand). ) and I could tell if a shoe had been left outside in the rain for months on end. These, on the other hand, are kept in a container. It's dry where you are. And she's never had a problem with any of her other shoes. Buyer beware, br>br>.

It's adorable and well-made
5/5

These shoes have a great saddle oxford look to them! These go perfectly with my daughters' blue and white checkered school uniforms! I searched high and low for a pair of reasonably priced saddle oxfords, and I gave these a try not expecting to fall in love with them as much as we do; These, on the other hand, were ideal for our requirements. br>br>The shoes fit like most Keds (very narrow), but they're just as comfortable as any other Keds shoe. The inside padding is memory foam, and the leather is thicker than traditional Keds canvas, so it provides more warmth and support. br>br>The white shows scuffs easily (pictures included), but because the material isn't canvas, the shoes are MUCH easier to spot clean with a damp cloth and a little all-purpose cleaner. cleaner with a specific goal br>br>I purchased one pair for my eldest daughter several years ago, and they're still going strong as a hand-me-down. Now it's time for my youngest daughter to sit down. I also recently purchased a second pair so that both girls can dress in matching outfits (yes, it's possible). I'm the mother in question! ), but I wanted to tell you about my experience with price differences. I think I paid around $30 for the first pair, and when I went to look at the different sizes for this new pair, I discovered that the price varies greatly depending on the size. The number 11 is significant for some reason. I just paid $7 for five of them. 35! I'm not sure if it was a mistake or what, but I bought them as soon as I saw the price; my daughter will have a little more wiggle room for her toes, but at that price, I couldn't pass them up!! It's definitely worth looking through the various sizes to find a good deal. especially for children's shoes, given how quickly their feet grow:.

Mold and mildew are growing on the inside of the shoe
3/5

This is what I discovered on the inside after almost two months with the product and my daughter wearing it for a total of probably six weeks; I was disgusted and immediately contacted Amazon. I'm also going to call KES because this is terrifying and unacceptably dangerous. My 6-year-old daughter has only experienced typical wear and tear. My mind is blown. After six weeks of wear, I've never seen anything like this in a child's shoe. It's not just on top of the padding; it's also beneath it. Also visible is the beginning of the shoe's separation. It's a lovely shoe, but it's poorly constructed.

It was more comfortable and cute than I had anticipated
4/5

These are so adorable! And they appear to be very comfortable, which makes me envious. br>br>They are comfortable, according to my daughter, but her feet get hot by the middle of the day. I may need to get her some thinner socks, but everything else appears to be in order! br>br>They appear to be long-lasting, easy to clean, cute, and comfortable in general. I'm glad I went out and bought them for her. I just wish they were wardrobe elligible so I could have found the best fit for her before paying. I bought the larger of the two options to allow for future expansion, and I'm hoping they will last as long as I need them. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: This isn't going to last very long. It's only been a month, and one of the shoes' fronts has already begun to peel. I can reasonably assume it was related to the latter, based on the fact that it was only one shoe, not both, and my daughter's usual sitting foot positions (tucked under her seat). br>br>The top edge started peeling as well, and I'm not sure how much longer they'll last. br>br>It's been less than a month, and I'm thinking about ordering a smaller size because I don't think they'll last long enough to need room for growth. In light of their price, this is quite disappointing.
