This is true to size. I bought a larger size because my daughter is a bit larger than her normal If the listed size was appropriate for her, we would have been happy.

Fit is a bit tight on the shirt. In general, I would buy this outfit based on the size your child normally wears in girls clothing. If she normally wears a size 7, I would buy the size for her age range. You look really cute in this outfit. After washing and drying the skirt I discovered that the rainbow tulle does not line up exactly, so when it is worn you can see the purple underlay clearly. I washed the dress in a lingerie bag in cold water on delicate and hung it to dry. As far as I can tell, the shirt is not cotton, but reacts more like a microfiber, so stain removal is a bit difficult. There seems to be a misunderstanding between the T's This shirt fits true to size, but if your child has a little bit of a tummy you will have to size up unless you want a tighter fit on the stomach (it's more like a slim fit tee, in that sense). The outfit she wore for her 5th birthday was absolutely perfect for her. I got sizes 5 and 6 and they fit Her shirt zipped all the way to her buttocks, but fitted equally across her I will detail a few details. All in all, she was pleased with the experience. It does not have a She chose the headband over the sash, which I would have preferred. We wore the tutu with jeans and knee highs, but it would look lovely with leggings or tights as well. All of the items we received were exactly as pictured when we got them home. Her unicorn horn fit nicely on her head and the colors of it were vibrant. It is also not too tight when it comes to the headband.

The size 5/6 y/o size arrived. There were a few problems A size 6 or 7 shirt would have fit better. As well, the unicorn print was not centered and was lower than it should have been. As low as could be seen, only the unicorn could be seen and the words "Birthday Girl" cannot be seen with a It would've usually been a deal breaker, but this was a last minute look, and the entire outfit as a whole was still cheaper than having the unicorn shirt customized and sent out, so Amazon was the winner! Having had more time, I would've ordered one size smaller if I could've done it again. Though the shirt was decent in material, I haven't had a chance to wash it yet. My 5 year was flat, but I put a small tutu-like slip over it to make it stand out more and it fit well. Size 6 worked well for her because she is tall.

Despite the skirt's cuteness, the ribbon trim on the tulle had come off by the time my daughter came home from school. We really enjoyed the sash (it was too big but it was easily tied) and the unicorn headbands are adorable but need to be pinned to the top. I was pleased that my daughter felt extra special in her birthday outfit, even though she had these small complaints.
