The watches were unusable; I couldn't use any of the functions or change the settings, and I wasn't able to return them because I purchased them so far in advance of Christmas.
These watches were purchased in twos by us. The gold one cycles through all of the color displays, whereas the red one only has a teal colored light or none at all.

It's a big hit with my 5-year-old! I enjoy it as well. br>I set the alarm, he runs to our neighbors' house to play, and he knows when the alarm goes off to return to me. It has a light feature that children enjoy, as well as a sturdy band that does not pinch.
I bought one of these watches for each of my boys, one blue and one green, and they both broke within 48 hours. The metal loop that the band passes through to tighten the band broke through the band within 48 hours, with no excessive putting on and taking off of the watches or rough activities that put extra strain on that part. Both watches broke in the same way, in the same place. Although I recognize that these are not high-end watches, I was not prepared for such a poor performance. Save your money and go shopping for a new timepiece.
This watch was recently purchased for my soon-to-be 5-year-old son. It is something he adores. It's simple to use and understand, and he had fun testing whether it was waterproof. My only criticism is that the watch face is a little large for his wrist; he'll grow into it, but it's a little too large right now. The wristband, on the other hand, is perfect and fits him perfectly. This watch is something I would buy again.
My son was very pleased with his watch. Unfortunately, it was short-lived. We've had it for 6 months, and I've replaced the battery because it wasn't keeping time, but it still doesn't, so I'm guessing it's an electrical issue. I'm sure there will always be a few products with bugs. I'm hoping that was the only one we got. I'm going to order a new one in the hopes that it will be better.
I do not recommend it for children. My son developed a rash on his arm after unscrewing the back of the watch to replace the battery, which is still visible a year later. The material, not the seller, is to blame for the persistent rash locking.
He wears it all the time (including to bed), lol. Definitely worth the investment.
After a month of light use, it finally gave out. It's not a watch, it's a toy.
